This graphic novel was so cute! It had a female/female relationship and it was the best! There was so much rep in this graphic novel, beside the f/f relationship (actually also a f/nb relationship) there was also a non-binary character and a hard of hearing character!
The story was amazing! It was about witches and werewolves, fighting a demon. I loved how the characters worked together, the amazing family relations, the friendship and just everything!
Besides the story and the characters, the art style was also really great!
I don’t really know how to review graphic novels, but my main message is, PLEASE all pick this up when it releases!

I expected this graphic novel to be contemporary, but there were aliens, which surprised me! But it was fun. It is about this alien species that are brainwashing humans through their electronic devices, in this way they hope to take over the world. Of course our main character finds out, and she has to save the world, together with three elderly people. It was fun, the drawings were nice, but the story was quite simple.

Title: Black Paradise.

Genre: Adult.

This is not the kind of Graphic novel that I enjoy. It’s about this German family moving to Nigeria for the fathers job. I think it was realistic, but I did not enjoy at all how these ‘white’ people were talking to the ‘black’ people. And not only talking, they just really felt they were better than them. Because of this I wasn’t really liking the characters.
Also the story just felt really flat to me. Not so much was happening, and I think better things could have been done with the story since the set up was really interesting!
I was also not a huge fan of the drawings, just not my style I guess.
