There are some books that I couldn’t write a full review on because I didn’t think I had enough thoughts?! But I still wanted to share my love for them!
The poppy war – RF Kuang
Rating: 5 stars!
Holy Crap, this book is amazing! New favourite!
I absolutely loved the first part with the
school setting, it reminded me a bit of the name
of the wind, but in a good way!
You also had a master that was very vague, and only present when he wanted to
be.
I really loved all the politics in the second
and third part. And how all the relationships between people shifted throughout
the book!
And Rin is just amazing!
I can’t wait to pick up the dragon
republic!
The devouring gray – Christine Lynn Herman
Rating: 5 stars!
I was doubting about picking this one up, because I wasn’t
sure if it would be something for me. I’m so happy I did, because I think it is
another new favourite!
I don’t have anything bad to say about this book! I
just could not stop listening to it, and ended up listening to most of this in
one day! I didn’t want this book to end, it should have been twice as long, I
just loved the world and the characters so much! And her writing style was
amazing!
The plot was also so gripping, I just needed to
know what was going to happen!
I’m very excited to read whatever she writes next!

Heartstopper vol. 1 – Alice Oseman
Rating: 5 stars!
I’m so happy I picked this up because of Jen @Nen&Jen! I was already interested, but wasn’t really in a hurry to pick it up. But when I read the review, I just very excited and immediately requested it from the library!
This was so darn cute! I just could not put it down, and read it in one sitting! It has some beautiful quotes! One of them being:
‘You can’t tell whether people are gay by what they look like. And gay or straight aren’t the only two options. Anyway, it’s very rude to speculate about people’s sexuality.’
It was gorgeous seeing these two characters falling for each other!
Also I really liked the simplistic art style! I can’t wait to read the next one, which of course I immediately requested!
Okay so this is why I had to combine them, all these reviews are basically just me saying I loved all of them, and you’ll should pick them up!
The Poppy War was amazing! It was one of my top books I read last year. I think the sequel was even better in some respects, and I can’t wait til she drops that final volume like a big old bomb on us. 😀
Ooh I will start book two later this week! So that sounds good!
I’m already excited for the last one haha
Ive got The Poppy War on my Kindle but still need to read it. And I’m really hoping to get a copy of The Devouring Gray soon too. I’m glad you loved these three so much; it’s wonderful when you find me new 5 star reads.
Yes finding a new 5 start read is the best thing!
I hope you will love them as well when you read them!
Thank you ❤️
I’m a fan of The Devouring Gray – excited for the next in the series!
