I keep wanting to try out more ‘horror’ books, but I keep not picking them up ahah! So I thought making this list might make me want to pick them up even more!

- Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix – I just love the concept off this book, I mean an IKEA catalogue? Also want to try out most of his other books!
- Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare
- The Only Good Indians by Stephan Graham Jones
- Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas
- Sour Candy by Kealan Patrick Burke
- She Walks in Shadows by Silvia Moreno-Garcia – I want to try this since it is edited by Moreno-Garcia and I love her works!

Cannot think of any more at this moment. But if you have some recommendation for some not too scary horror books, let me know!
I enjoyed Horrorstör a lot, probably because I love Ikea and thought it funny how similar the store in it is. Def read the edition that looks like an Ikea catalog.
Yeah I was planning too 🙂
Horrorstor was amazing- I hope you’ll enjoy it when you read it!
Good to hear!
I enjoyed Horrorstor a lot! I like Grady Hendrix because his premises are always a little bit silly but done in a way that’s actually pretty spooky! I just finished Summer Sons, Within These Wicked Walls, and Nothing But Blackened Teeth and enjoyed them all!
Just added all three to my TBR!
Grady Hendrix’ books indeed all sounds very interesting!
Catherine House is on my tbr. It sounds so interesting!
It does!
In the past few months I’ve enjoyed Within These Wicked Walls by Lauren Blackwood. Loads of gothic atmosphere.
Ooh I’m going to look that one up!
