My thoughts:
This book was getting a lot of hype recently, release of the sequel I guess?! So I thought I would give it a shot as well. Especially since the premise sounded really good!
I absolutely loved the concept of this book! I mean she is just casually talking about her book concept in a café and the neighbour thinks she is a murderer for hire, and wants to pay her to kill someone.
Finlay was such an interesting character, I liked that she was doing all these questionable things just to be able to take care of her kids! Like, you disagree with her choices but still you can see where she is coming from.
Actually all the characters were really well done! The Babysitter, the father of the kids and his new girlfriend, they were all interesting, and really beneficial to the story!
I did think this book was a bit too long. I think around the 75% mark I started to lose my interest a bit since it was just taking too long. But obviously I did continue with the audiobook, since I did want to know what the big reveal would be!
I will listen to the sequel at some point, although I don´t really think this book needed a sequel! But I am interested in what would happen in that one!
This story was silly, but it was definitely fun!
