First Impression Friday – A map of days

So this time I decided to go with A map of days. I’m a big fan of this series, but I don’t think I ever really talked about this on my blog! So I decided this as good a moment as any!

Before reading:

I’m not a  big fan of series being over and then ‘surprise’ another book(s). but since I really loved the original trilogy I had to read this one.

First impressions (1 chapter):

I love being back in this world! I did not know I missed it so much haha. I was worried I had forgotten a lot, but as soon as I started I remembered everything. I really like seeing them in different circumstances, and seeing them deal with the world after the events in Library of souls. I’m predicting this will be a 5 star read. And now I will quickly continue reading 🙂

After reading:

I absolutely loved this! 5 stars as predicted!

Sometimes this book feels a bit ‘childish’, as in it is more directed to a bit younger audience (maybe it is..?). But it is still fantastic. I’m really sad that there is as good as nothing known about the 5^th book 🙁 Since I really cannot wait to continue on! I’m really interested in the sequel after the ending of this book, it is taking a really interesting direction!
