So this time I decided to go with The pickwick papers by Charles Dickens. I didn’t know anything about this one before starting it, but I’ve loved most of Dickens work that I’ve read so far!

Title: The pickwick papers.
Author: Charles Dickens.
Format: E-book.
Genre: Classic, fiction.
First impressions:
After 100 pages, since this book is gigantic.
This beginning is a bit confusing and it is too hard to form an opinion right now haha.
I mean this book is almost 900 pages, so there is still lots to come. I have no idea why I decided to read such a long classic this month though..
I’m a bit lost at what is happening, not sure who the important characters are etc. For now I will predict a 3 star rating!
Final thoughts:
So this went different then expected.. I decided to DNF this book, at least for now.
I’m not really sure if it is the books fault or if I was just reading it at the wrong moment. To me this book was very slow, probably because it is so long, and I just didn’t get what was happening, because my thoughts kept wondering off.
My December was so busy, and I was so stressed about school since I had an exam right before Christmas break (on the day I’m posting this to be exact). And after studying a whole day, I just didn’t have the energy to try and figure this book out. I needed something fast to entertain myself, and this just didn’t do it.
I read 360/894 pages, and tbh I couldn’t tell you what it was about. Partly because the book was a bit confusing to me, as in I couldn’t figure out which characters were important, but also since it was so slow my thoughts kept wondering off.
I might try it again in the future!
