A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
I don’t have a specific book, or friend for this one. But I feel like the book community is telling me to read The city of Brass by SA Chakraborty, and I definitely will! I think I will wait until the third book is released, and then read them all at once!
A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up
For my physical TBR this is definitely Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard. It is such a shame I still haven’t read it, I absolutely loved the first two books and the novella! I think the problem is that we don’t really know anything about book 4 yet, and I don’t want having to wait for too long!
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten around to finishing yet
Oh so many! Look at my previous answer haha! Some others are Stalking Jack the ripper, Scythe, The bear and the nightingale, Rebel of the sands, and we could continue for quite a while!
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
Animal farm and the bell jar, just to name two. But there are lots of classics still on my ‘to read’ list!
A popular book that seems everyone but you has read
An ember in the ashes! I’ve been ‘planning’ to read this series since the first book released, and I still haven’t picked it up.. I’m again planning to read it in 2020, because I don’t think it will happen this year anymore. But the good thing is, if I enjoy I can read more then one book of the series at once!
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read yet
I honestly can’t think of any right now.. I’m generally not a book movie watcher, so often I will watch an adaptation because I’ve read the book and got curious to the adaptation!
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up
*Scrolls through Instagram* I now see a lot of The toll, which just released when I’m writing this! And I haven’t read this by the time I’m writing this either, I do own the book though! So I hope this answers is still relevant when I post this, since I don’t know when that will be 🙂

Nice answers! I have so many series I need to finish as well. It’s crazy! Stalking Jack the Ripper series is one of mine too, I’m currently on the third book.
