I thought it would be a good idea to list all the series I’m currently in the middle of (and am planning to continue)! I’m already sure I won’t remember them all.. Especially because some series I listen on audiobook, so it is easy to forget about them..
I think the easiest way is to split the series up into two categories, series I’m caught up on and am waiting for the sequel, and series I could continue but just haven’t. So this was my original plan, but the post became wayyy to long, so I decided to split it up!
Series I’m caught up on and am waiting for the sequel:
- Aurora rising – Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. This book only just releases haha, sequel coming next year!
- Miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children – Ransom Riggs. Waiting for book five, which will probably release in 2020.
- Children of blood and bone – Tomi Adeyemi. Second book coming really soon! You bet I will pick that up ASAP.
- The name of the wind – Patrick Rothfuss. Who knows when book three will come…
- The smoke thieves – Sally Green. One more month for this sequel!

- Scythe – Neal Shusterman. Another sequel that comes soon!
- The cruel prince – Holly Black. I can’t wait to read the conclusion!
- Shadow of the fox -Julie Kagawa. One year for this conclusion..
- The last magician – Lisa Maxwell. This is a new favourite series of mine! Nothing is known about the third book though..
- Nevernight – Jay Kristoff. I’m DYING for this sequel! It will be here soon!

- The hazel wood – Melissa Albert. I feel like this sequel has been pushed back a lot.. But beginning of next year!
- The last namsara – Kristen Ciccarelli. Another conclusion I’m really excited for!
- Crown of feathers – Nicki Pau Preto. I literary just read this, but I already cannot wait for the sequel!
- Seafire – Natalie C Parker. Another one I read really recently, luckily the sequel will be here soon!
- These rebel waves – Sara Raash. Another one that will be here really soon!

- The gilded wolves – Roshni Choski. I was pleasantly surprised by this, and can’t wait how it will continue.
- Every hear a doorway – Seanon McGuire. Not sure if this really counts as series, since they are all companions..
- The red scrolls of magic – Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu. This sequel is still more than a year away!
- The fever king – Victoria Lee. I absolutely loved this and just need to know what will happen.
- King of scars – Leigh Bardugo. I don’t know what to say anymore ahha.. I just want the sequel.

This list became so much longer then I expected.. As I said in the beginning, the series I could continue will be posted later (probably next week)!
Like, ALLLL OF THE ABOVE!! Evelyn!! Why are you reminding me that I am waiting on so many books?!
Hahaha sorry!
You’ve mentioned so many great books/series in this post, including some that I still need to read. The sequel I am most looking forward to at the moment is Ruthless Gods by Emily A Duncan, the sequel to Wicked Saints. I am currently obsessed with this book.
Ooh I think my copy of wicked saints is arriving in a couple of days, so excited to pick that up!
I’m waiting for so many of these. Can’t wait for the sequel to Children of Blood and Bone and Gilded Wolves. Great post.
Thanks 🙂
I’m waiting on a few of these. Particularly the last in the DarkDawn series and also the Hazel Wood.Lynn 😀
Darkdawn is luckily not that far away anymore! Although it still feels like forever!
I also can’t wait for so many of these sequels! There are SO many good series in the works right now!
Yes indeed!
Definitely looking forward to Children of Blood and Bone #2, Seafire #2, and The Gilded Wolves #2! I’ve also read Shadow and the Fox, although I wasn’t a big fan of it? I’ve loved most of the Julie Kagawa books I’ve read in the past (the Iron Fey books and the Blood of Eden books were amazing), so I guess I was just expecting more from her. I’ll most likely read the sequel too, but maybe with less expectations.
Yes so many good sequels to come!
Oh I’m sad to her that! I read Kagawa’s Iron fey series and Talon series, and loved both! I hope you will enjoy the sequel more!
