So for this year I have decided to make another Bookopoly board, which is totally copied from Becca @Becca and the Books! I mostly copied her prompts as well (like 80%..), so all credits to her!
I just really loved playing it for the readathon that she created, and it makes the making of the TBR way more fun!
Here is my board!

I will do 8 rolls, and If I roll double I will have to do an extra roll! The Chance cards have books that I would like to read that are on Scribd (and that I do not own), and the Community Shelf cards have random prompts (set in past/present/future, lowest rated etc).
I have decided to not be very strict on myself, I will use my rolls as a guideline. If I decide that I don’t feel like reading the book that I choose for a certain prompt, there are no ‘punishments’ or whatever. I mainly play because I like doing the rolls and choosing the books fitting the prompts!
Roll 1 (double) – YA fantasy – Legendborn by Tracy Deonn – I’m so excited for this one!
Roll 2 – Science-Fiction – A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine – This sounds very good, also I have an ARC of the sequel haha
Roll 3 – Adult Fantasy – Daughter of the Salt King by AS Thornton – An ARC! Also sounds good!

Roll 4 (double) – Contemporary – The Summer I Drowned by Taylor Hale – Another ARC!
Roll 5 – Most Recent Purchase – Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden – A Reread, I’m also reading this for the winternight readalong!
Roll 6 (double) – Dystopia – Red Rising by Pierce Brown – So I’ve listened to this a couple of years ago, and hated it.. But lately so many booktubers, with the same reading taste as me, have been loving this. So now I want to try it again, but reading it!

Roll 7 – YA Fantasy – Fable by Adrienne Young – I’ve been wanting to read this for a while now!
Roll 8 – Horror – Bunny by Mona Awad – I want to read more horror, also January 4th Winterween starts (hosted by Olivia @Olivareadsalatte), so that first perfectly!
Roll 9 – Science Fiction – Across the Void by SK Vaughn – I bought this one a couple of months back, very excited to finally pick it up!

Roll 10 – For Fans of.. (a lot of books have this sentence on there!) – Snakewood by Adrian Shelby (For fans of Joe Abercrombie, which I haven’t read haha) – I randomly bought this in a second hand store, very curious to it!
Roll 11 – Magical Realism – Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore – This prompt is the perfect reason to finally pick up this authors work!

We will see how this goes haha! I definitely had a good time picking the books! And as I said, just using this as guidelines, no pressure!
As I mentioned I will participate in Winterween, taking place from January 4-10! So I might try and read more horror during that week!
This looks like fun! Enjoy.
It was fun to play!
Ooooh – I love this! I hope you like Red Rising better in the reading version. I really loved the original trilogy. Have a wonderful month!
I hope so too! Many people with similar reading tastes as mine love it! So I want to know what I´m missing!
I am not 100 percent sure what I am going to be reading, but I will definitely be reading Addie LaRue and From Blood and Ash! I love the idea of Bookopoly… it is so creative and sounds fun!
One of my faves from this year!
It was definitely lots of fun to play!
Oh this looks fun, gook luck with your bookopoly! Looking forward to seeing what you think about the books. 🙂
It was definitely fun to play!
