January Reading Plans

I skipped playing bookopoly in December, but I’m back with it this month!

I decided to roll a D8 dice to determine the amount of rolls I would do (with the rule to do at least 4, since I like playing haha)

I rolled 6 so, 6 rolls it is!

The board:

For the next month I will put all my unread ebooks in my chance cards pile, so I will hopefully actually read those (I’ve been being quite a lot of those lately..)

Roll 1: Chance card – Radio Silence by Alice Oseman (I will either read the ebook or listen to this one!)

Roll 2: Contemporary – Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (probably more sci-fi, but GoodReads list it as contemporary as well and I want to read it haha)

Roll 3: Series – Rise of the World Eater by Jamie Littler

Roll 4: Fantasy – Jade City by Fonda Lee (SO EXCITED) I kinda hope to read the entire series but we will see if that will happen!

Roll 5 (double): Dystopian – Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel

Roll 6: Randomize – Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky (did a random number generator for my TBR cart)

Roll 7: Fantasy – Fool’s Assassin by Robin Hobb

The board really gave me a nice TBR, all books I really want to read with a broad variety of genres!

There are two more books I really want/have to read this month:

  • We Were Kings by Court Stevens (ARC, releases in February)
  • Where the Drowned Girls Go by Seanan McGuire (I mean how could I not read this one straight away?!)

Also in the month of January there is Be Sure Athon hosted by Sasha @Thewildsasha!
