I had a great first reading month of the year! This month I used my bookopoly board for determining my TBR for the first time, and I’m happy to say I read all of them! (Or at least tried since I DNF books..)
Let’s go into the statistics of the month!
#Books read: 22
Total page count (includes audio pages): 7233
Pages/day (includes audio pages): 233

As usual, mainly female authors!

I really like this division! Hopefully I can keep this up the whole year!

Mainly fantasy, as expected haha. But more sci-fi then normally, so that makes me happy!

Mostly ebooks! But I did read quite some on Scribd, so makes sense!

Mostly 4 and 4.5 stars! So that’s good!

I’ve nothing to say about these page numbers haha!
And now for all the books I read and their ratings! (If I have a review up they are linked to the cover, some books still have reviews coming!)
DNF (both reviews coming!):

1 star:

3 stars:

3.5 stars:

4 stars:

4.5 stars:

Favourite read (without rereads): The Black Tides of Heaven, The Red Threads of Fortune and The Descent of Monsters!
Most disappointing: Bunny and Fable!
Oh wow, Evelyn! Fantastic job with book-opoly! I’m impressed. Even with the few DNFs you still managed to read so much and also read to your list–I wish I was so disciplined hahah. Hope you have a great February!
I’m one of those weird people who just reads from a lkist instead of mood reading (for the most part haah)
Wow 22 books?!?! That is amazing!! You are a reading goddess! I have quite a few of these on my TBR and am excited to read them… eventually I really want to read Shadow and Bone since the netflix show is coming out here soon. They merged the storyline of Six of Crows and Shadow and Bone in the show series… I am interested to see how that plays out! I have read some pretty interesting theories!
Hope Feb is just as good for you! 🙂
Haha thanks!
Yeah I’m also very curious how they are going to do it! I’m trying to reread them all before the release ahah!
Wow, that’s a lot! Even though it wasn’t my lowest rates book, my least favorite read was the Burning God just because the ending enraged me so much!
I can imagine!
What a nice wrap up! Pity you did not like Bunny, I had such fun reading it. And it’s so cool that you gave Ji Yang’s books 5 stars, they sound amazing (and I love these covers!!)
I think bunny is a really hit or miss book haha!
They are amazing and the covers are gorgeous!!
You did so good and read lots of books! Have a good February. 🙂
Thanks
I hope you have a great February as well!
Awesome wrap up!!
Thanks
Ooh a DNF of Fable! I haven’t seen that before, it got rave reviews last year.
Yeah that’s why I picked it up! But it unfortunately was not for me!
My least favourite of the month was my Shug by Jenny Han. Favourites are Winterhouse by Ben Guterson and Hollowpox by Jessica Townsend. Love all your stats!
Ooh don’t know shug or Winter house! Loved Hollowpox as well!
Thanks 🙂
Wow, that’s a lot of reading – of course the problem I find is that if I’m reading a lot I tend to fall behind with reviews and vice versa.
Snakewood didn’t work for me tbh. I read it all and reviewed but I wasn’t bowled over. I have picked up another by the author though. It’s set in the same world but I think can be read as a standalone and I want to give the author another try to see if the first was more of a one off.
Lynn 😀
Jup.. definitely have that problem haha!
Glad you also didn’t enjoy snakewood haha did you like the other one? Or you haven read it yet?
