This month I will be skipping the stats since I’m writing this pretty last minute..

So now I will go into all the books I’ve read this month:

Scorpio races by Maggie Stiefvater. Audiobook, 3 stars.

I was a bit disappointed by this books. I love the Raven cycle, but I really disliked All the crooked things. This book had to decide for me if I wanted to read more books from Maggie Stiefvater, I now think that I will only read other books by her based on the reviews I read.

See my full review here!

Fullmetal alchemist 3-in-1 vol.1 by Hiromu Arakawa. Paperback, 5 stars.

I absolutely loved this manga, I think it is now one of my favorites. I have actually not read lots of other mangas, but whatever. I order the second volume as soon as I finished this one.

Harry Potter and the half-blood prince by JK Rowling. Hardcover, 5 stars.

I mean do I really need to talk about how much I love this book!?

The beauty of darkness by Mary E Pearson. Hardcover, 3 stars.

This was a good ending to the series. The first book was definitely the best, but this one was better then the second book! See all my thoughts here!

Dear Ijeawele by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Audiobook, 5 stars.

Random started to listen to this book, it was only 1,5 hours long and I listened on1,5 speed so it only took me a little while. It was nice to listen to and it made some important comments.

The heart forger by Rin Chupeco. Audiobook, 2 stars.

I absolutely did not enjoy this book.. I had no idea what was going on and who was who. There was only one character that I liked and that’s why I gave it two stars instead of 1. All my thoughts can be found here!

David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. Hardcover, 5 stars.

Classic of the month! I absolutely loved this book, it was quite fast-paced for a classic. I think this is the best Charles Dickens book I’ve read so far! I’m really excited to read more from him!

The raven boys by Maggie Stiefvater. Audiobook, 5 stars.

I really felt like rereading this series, and decided to do this on audiobook! Even though I did not really like the scorpio races, I still really loved this! I think the first book is my favorite In the series, but I loved them all.

The leading edge of now by Marci Lyn Curtis. E-arc, 3 stars.

The genre of this book is not my favorite, but I enjoyed reading it. It read really fast, and I read it at a good moment. See my full review here!

The glass spare by Lauren DeStefano. Audiobook, 1 stars.

This was such I disappointment, I loved her Chemical garden trilogy. But I felt now enjoyment at all while reading/listening this book.. See more elaborated thoughts here!

Earth to dad by Krista Van Dolzer. E-arc, 3 stars.

This was a quite enjoyable middle grade and had some important messages. See all my thoughts here!

Defy the stars by Claudia Grey. Paperback, 2.5 stars.

I was really disappointed by this book. I had quite high expectations, I really thought I would love this book. But not a lot happened and I was quite bored. See more thoughts here!

Vicious by VE Schwab. Hardcover, 5 stars.

VE Schwab can do no wrong! This book was so original and so well thought off, and I can’t wait for the sequel to be released! Full review will be posted soon!

Archie vol. 3 by Mark Waid. Paperback, 4 stars.

I just love Archie and his friends, not a lot happens in this graphic novels but I still enjoy them!

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. Hardcover, 4 stars.

I had such high expectations for this book and unfortunately I did not meet them. It was quite different from what I expected, I still enjoyed it even though it was different then I thought. For the most part of the book I thought I would give it 3 stars, but because of the ending I gave it 4.

The dream thieves by Maggie Stiefvater. Audiobook, 5 stars.

I just really wanted to continue my reread, loved it again!

Monsters of men by Patrick Ness. Paperback, 4  stars.

This was such a good ending to this trilogy! I absolutely love Patrick Ness’ writing, I can’t wait to read more from him! Also can’t wait for the Chaos walking movie!

I’m enjoying these manga’s even though they are quite simple. I do have to say that I don’t feel rushed to read volume 4.

A thousand perfect notes by CG Drews. Paperback, 3 stars.

Had to support a fellow blogger! And since I love her blog and reviews on GoodReads I thought I would enjoy this as well! It is a bit different though since this book is quite dark, but I could see her humor in the book! Full review here!

The bitter kingdom by Rae Czrson. Paperback, 2 stars.

Liked this series less and less as it progressed.. The first book was really good, but I did not feel lots for the sequels. I am still going to read her other series though!

Blue lily, lily blue by Maggie Stiefvater. Audiobook, 5 stars.

Again had to continue my reread! Will listen to the last book soon!

Lumberjanes vol. 6 by Noelle Stevenson. Paperback, 4 stars.

Fullmetal alchemist 3-in-1 vol. 2 by Hiromu Arakawa. Paperback, 5 stars.

After really loving the first volume I had to read the second volume as soon as possible. Loved this volume as well and can not wait to read the third volume! Would recommend this series if you want to get into manga.

Assassin’s apprentice by Robin Hobb. Paperback, (still readin while writing this).

I’m so happy I’m finally reading something from Robin Hobb! I always heard she is one of the best fantasy writers and now I can see where that is coming from! I’m loving this book so far!
