For some reason in February my TBR stressed me.. Which is not what I want! So this month I’m going to do it differently! I really want to read what I want, and not feel like I have to go through this list and then it feels forced and takes from my enjoyment. My problem was that in my February TBR post I listed a lot of books that I maybe would read. But for some reason I felt like I had to read them all. So now I will only list my 4 priorities. Which are:
- I’m thinking about Crime and punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky as my classic of the month. But this may change since I think this is a quite hard book to read.
- Priory of the orange tree by Samantha Shannon. I’m just to excited for this one!
- Thick as thieves by Megan Whalen Turner, last book in my buddy read.
- Queen of air and darkness by Cassandra Clare. I really want to listen to this audiobook, I need to know what happens after the ending of book two.
I just realised that three of these books are long.. I hope I will manage haha. For the rest I will just pick up whatever I want!

And of course there are some new releases this month that sound interesting!
To best the boys – Mary Weber (March 5th) – My review is posted soon!
The test – Sylvain Neuvel (March 1st)
Superman: dawnbreaker – Matt de la Pena (March 5th)
Once & future – Amy Rose Capetta (March 5th)
Shades of Magic vol. 1 – VE Schwab (March 6th)
Sherwood – Meagan Spooner (March 19th)
Come talk to me!
What are you planning on reading in March?
Hey everyone! I wasn t going to make a March TBR, but since I have a few buddy reads set up, I figured that I should just make one. March is going to be a really busy month at work, but I m feeling pretty ambitious and hoping I have a better reading month than February. The Everlasting Rose by Dhonielle Clayton ? This is the sequel to The Belles and I m buddy reading it with Stacie and Bee .
This sounds like a great tbr! I haven’t read any but they all look interesting. I’m also super excited for Schwab’s Shades of Magic comic to be released! Hoping to get to that by the end of the month, too 🙂
I’m only planning on reading at all lol. Not sure what yet! Everybody is buzzing about Priory of the Orange Tree and the cover is beautiful and the story is supposed to be really well constructed and the main romance is f/f I heard so that read looks awesome! Considering I’m not mentally and emotionally ready to commit to such a big book, I’ll just keep it in mind for later on in the year. I want to start Megan Whalen Turner’s book series so bad! I hope you enjoy your reads this month and have a good March! 🙂
Hahah yeah, it will be a big commitment the thief series is definitely interesting, but for me not as good as expected but since I got so far I want to read the last one as well (or the last when that is currently released) haha
I just finished Emergency Contact by Mary H. K. Choi this morning and now I’m drowning in feeeeeeeels. But I loved it.
I haven’t read that one yet, but the cover looks cute ☺️ glad to hear you liked it!
Priory of the Orange Tree is on my March TBR too, and yes it is a clunker! I’m glad I’m listening to it in audio, I do better with longer books in this format.
Haha, that’s funny, for me it’s exactly the other way. Long audiobooks don’t work.. doesn’t matter how good the book is near the end I get more easily distracted/ bored hope you enjoy!
