I’m not really going to make a TBR this month.. I know I say that most of the months and then I come with a list containing 10 books that I want to read. But this time I mean it for real haha!
1 (2) thing(s) that I have to read is my classic of the month, and still the one from April.. Because of my OWLs I didn’t manage Madame Bovary which I was planning to read. I still really want to read that one, and then I will read another classic for May! Not sure which one though.
Another thing I would like to do is participate in the TBR jar Readathon. Here you basically need to put some random books in a jar and pick from there what to read. Which fits my all over the place reading plans perfectly! So I don’t think I will make a separate TBR for this, but I will mention it again somewhere I guess?! (Could I be more vague, I don’t even know myself what I mean ahah). See the announcement post here!
For the rest I want to read some of my physical books! I read a lot of ebooks in April, which is good, but I like to go through all my physical books before I move them back home at the end of June! Some of the ones I have (not saying I will read them) are:
- Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
- Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend
- Renegades by Marissa Meyer
- Dragons keeper by Robin Hobb
- Now I rise by Kiersten White
- The storm crow by Kalyn Josephson

Audiobook wise, there are quite some that I’m really interested in lately. Just to name some:
- Nyxia uprising by Scott Reintgen
- Wildcard by Marie Lu
- Firestarter by Tara Sim
- The cold in her bones by Peternelle van Arsdale
- Sherwood by Meagan Spooner

There are also some e-arcs that I maybe should go and read! I also really want to read some graphic novels, but I guess I will just go through scribd at some point and see what I end up reading. I also really want to go to the library and pick some random things up! Haven’t done that in a while 🙂
Yes I have great reading plans, I also have a really busy school period, with exams starting half of May, so this month will be great..
We will see haha
I read the first two books in the Nyxia series, but have no idea when I’ll ever get to the newest one. Hope you enjoy it!
I’m currently listening to it, and I think I like the first book the best so far
I never make a TBR for the month and I find it helps my reading go much smoother. I pick out books I didn’t plan or never thought I would spot. I’m clearly a mood reader … and there’s nothing wrong with that! Good luck with the TBR Jar Read-a-thon!
Ooh it’s good to choose the otherwise left behind books!
I don’t really make plans although obviously with review books I do try and keep on track with the release dates and that does govern slighly what I read next.Good luck with your month and with your exams :DLynn
Thanks ☺️
Nevermoor is so good!! I hope you get to it!!
I hope so too 🙂
