I’m trying to catch up on some tags, so I’m sorry if two in one week is a bit much haha! #oops
Thanks to Melanie @TBR & Beyond for the tag!
Rules:
- Link back to the tag’s creator: Kourtni @Kourtni reads
- Thank and link back to the person who tagged you!
- Answer the questions the best you can. If you don’t use NetGalley, you can substitute other sites or places where you get books!
- Tag a few people to do this too!
Auto-approved – who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they are about?
Okay, so I’m not gonna name one, because there are too many! Some of them are:
- Jay Kristoff
- VE Schwab
- Leigh Bardugo
- Julie Kagawa
- Susan Dennard

Request – what makes you want to request a book on NetGalley?
I’m not a big fan of requesting on NetGalley, I’m just not really a fan of their website. So most of the time when I request a book there, I’ve already heard about it before. So often those books are quite popular, and I won’t get them anyway because I’m not in the US..
So I don’t decide on the website itself to request a book, I will just scroll through the options and be like ‘Oh I heard some interesting things about this one’ and then request.
Feedback ratio – do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?
No I don’t. I’m not sure if this sounds weird, but I think I read too many books for that?! I read around 4 books a week, and I don’t want my blog to only be reviews!
I do review
all the ARCs that I get, those I prioritize. But for the other books, if I love
a book I want to share this, so most probably I will review it. But sometimes I
can’t put in words why I love a book, so I skip on it?! Kinda the same for
books I really don’t like! Also sometimes I just don’t feel like reviewing a
book, because I just don’t have many thoughts about it?!
I do want to review more books that are less popular, to share those books.
Badges – if you could create one badge or display on your blog, what would it be for?
I have no inspiration for this at all.. I’m fine with the ones that are there, but I don’t really care about them?!

Wish for it – what’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read
Right now I would say the Toll!! I can’t wait to read that conclusion!
2019 NetGalley challenge – what was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’re never received one, what’s the last book you reviewed?
The last ARC I reviewed is Orpheus girl and you can find it here!

I’m so excited to see The Toll on so many lists (mine included). I’ll have so many people to cry with once it comes out and all our feels are inevitably decimated. Oooh, I hadn’t even though about Jay Kristoff in the auto approve list. Talk about missed opportunities.
Hahah yeah so many people are waiting for that one!
I think Jay Kristoff is an autobuy author for many readers haha!
I really want to try Netgalley sometime but I don’t think I have enough of a following and I’m kind of scared to try. Also, despite still needing to read most of their work, those authors are pretty much without for me too as their stories always sound fantastic.
I actually don’t think they look at your following! At least not for the ‘less popular’ books!
I would say just try and see!
Ooh right thanks (: I might try it out once my internets sorted out then.
