It has been exactly one year since I posted my first post on this blog!
I’m actually writing this post almost a month in advance haha, since on this day I will just have gotten back from China. And probably am to tired today to actually post something haha. But I hope you will enjoy this tag! (Created by Jamie @AlittlesliceofJamie)
Where do you typically write you blog posts?
Most of the time just behind my desk. Sometimes in bed, since it’s more comfortable, but harder to actually type haha.
How long does it generally take you to write a book review?
It really depends, I always try to make notes while reading, the more notes I make the quicker the review writing goes. The whole process including making the banner and scheduling probably takes 1 – 1,5 hours. (It also really depends on the book, for some books I just have more to say).

When did you start your book blog?
Exactly one year ago!! Happy Birthday to my blog!
What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?
Well the time you ‘have to’ spend on it (Of course you can decide yourself how much time you spend on each post). I really like writing reviews and sharing my thoughts. But it does take time. More time then that it would take on GoodReads, since there you don’t need it to look ‘nice’ haha.
What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?
All the other bloggers! I love reading other blogs, and talking to people!
What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?
Eehm I don’t know haha. I really liked doing my Yearly stats and my 24h Readathon post. And I’m quite proud of my Evelyn Hugo review.

What is your favourite type of blog post to write?
Definitely reviews! I love sharing my thoughts and feelings towards different books!
When do you typically write?
Whenever I have the time, which is mostly in the evenings. But some days I only have afternoon classes, and since I’m a morning person, I like to spend that free time on my blog! But of course I often have to let schoolwork go first and then blog happens at the end of the day.
Do you review every book you read?
Honestly, no. I read around 20 ‘things’ each month, and to be honest I don’t have the time for that. I also don’t really like reviewing graphic novels, since I don’t have much to say about hem haha. Also I don’t like reviewing classics, but I’m now doing First Impression Friday posts about them. But most of the other books I do review 🙂
How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?
I always have a drink next to my laptop, always water, sometimes tea, sometimes coffee, sometimes cola. Just something haha. I prefer wearing my comfy cloths 🙂 And sometimes I like eating a snack (healthy or unhealthy) well writing. Sometimes Netflix, but always better not, because writing takes me twice as long when I do that..

When do you write you book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?
I try to write them ASAP, but not two seconds after finishing. I went my thoughts to sink in a bit. If I loved the book, but hated the ending, I don’t want my review to be too influenced by only my feelings about the ending, if that makes sense. So if I finish the book right before I go to bed, I will try to write the review somewhere the next day. If I finish in the morning, I will probably write in the evening. Of course sometimes it happens that it’s later than that, so then I really try to use my notes! (Which often are really vague..)
How often do you post?
6 times a week.. Sometimes I think I should post less and focus a bit more on school.. I’m managing right now, but there is always something falling a bit behind. I either forget to do some homework, or I don’t spend as much time on a post as I would want. There are some post that are ‘easier’ to write, like can’t wait Wednesday, and they don’t take as much time. But those are also the posts I like ‘the least’. So sometimes I’m thinking about posting less, but spending more time on what I’m posting. I would like to do more ‘discussion’ posts but those of course take more time.
Congratulations and happy blogoversary! Here’s to many more!
Thanks
