Rapid fire book tag!

Another tag!

I’ve seen this tag on BookTube a lot awhile back, and really liked it, so I thought I would do it as well! If I’m correct the original tag was published by Girlreading on BookTube, so check it out!

So now for the questions!

  1. E-book or physical book?

Physical book! I love holding the real book and being able to see the progress you made! I do see the advantages of an E-book, and I definitely do use it!

  1. Paperback or hardback?

Paperback! They just read way easier than hardcovers, even though hardcovers look better in my shelf 🙂

  1. Online or in-store shopping?

I mostly buy books online, because it is cheaper and easy haha. But I do really like in-store shopping and just hold all the books, and read the back. With in-store shopping you sometimes walk out of the shop with a book you’ve never heard of before. Which is great!

  1. Trilogies or series?

Uhm hard one! I would say trilogies, because sometimes with series the story is dragged out. But some authors can do it really well!

  1. Heroes or villains?

VILLAINS! 100% I love me a good villain.

  1. A book you want everyone to read?

The final empire! I love that series! This was also a hard question, there are lots of books everyone must read!

  1. Recommend an underrated book

Dresscodes for small towns by Courtney C. Stevens and Night school by CJ Daugherty.

  1. The last book you finished?

At the point of writing this: Thunderhead, which I absolutely loved! But when I post this it is probably something else 🙂

  1. The last book you bought?

Nyxia by Scott Reintgen and And I darken by Kiersten White.

  1. Weirdest thing you’ve used as a bookmark?

I mostly use bookmarks haha. I sometimes put things like my phone in my book if it’s only for a couple of seconds.

  1. Used book: yes or no?

Yes. I personally don’t buy them, but that’s partly because I do not have a good second hand shop near me!

  1. Top three favourite genres?

Fantasy, Sci-fi, Dystopian.

  1. Borrow or buy?

Buy! I should borrow more books haha.

  1. Characters or plot?

Plot! But I will still consider a book with a really good plot and really bad characters is an average book.

  1. Long or short books?

Long! 600 pages is good amount!

  1. Long or short chapters?

Short! Like 10-15 pages, because I feel accomplished if I read lots of chapters 🙂

  1. Name the first three books you think of.

Thunderhead (just finished), Orange vol. 1 (just started), Catwoman: soulstealer (Lays next to me).

  1. Books that made you laugh or cry?

Eeh is it weird I can’t think of anything?! First of all, I never cry in books so don’t have any for that. Series of unfortunate events was funny!? There were some funny things in Scythe and Thunderhead.

  1. Our world or fictional world?

Our world! Because then I can visit more fictional worlds!

  1. Audiobooks: yes or no?

Yes! I absolutely love audiobooks! I listen to loads of those!

  1. Do you ever judge a book by its cover?

Jup.. Don’t judge a book by its cover, does not count for books…

  1. Book to movie adaptation or book to TV adaptation?

Mmm hard one. I think movie, but with TV adaption you can enjoy it longer.

  1. A movie or TV-show you preferred to its book?

Don’t know any on top of my head. Maybe the maze runner? But then only the first movie, because I did not like the second one and have not seen the third movie yet..

  1. Series or stand-alone?

Series! I love being in one world for a while 🙂

Come talk to me!

Just curious do you prefer long or short books? With long or short chapters?
