What is it about? (summary from GoodReads)

Clock mechanic Danny Hart knows he’s being watched. But by whom, or what, remains a mystery. To make matters worse, clock towers have begun falling in India, though time hasn’t Stopped yet. He’d hoped after reuniting with his father and exploring his relationship with Colton, he’d have some time to settle into his new life. Instead, he’s asked to investigate the attacks.

After inspecting some of the fallen Indian towers, he realizes the British occupation may be sparking more than just attacks. And as Danny and Colton unravel more secrets about their past, they find themselves on a dark and dangerous path–one from which they may never return.

What I thought:

I found this story really interesting, again, and could not stop listening to this audiobook!

I really liked the beginning of this book. I really loved that Daphne and Colton have bigger roles in this book! I was really have happy that they went to India, so that we can see another part of this interesting world.

This book took a way darker turn then that I had expected haha, it really surprised me!

I liked this book a bit less then book one. Mainly because there was way less cutey romance and got really annoyed by the main character at times. Also I would have really liked it if the author would have explored the world, or at least this part of the world, more.

And this is the point were I realize I should have written this review earlier, because I do not remember anything haha… #cry

I will definitely continue this series because I really want to know where they will go in the third book.

Advise for:

People who want lgbt in fantasy. Only slight fantasy though haha

Thanks for reading!
