What is it about?
This book starts exactly where the first book ended. After saving Riden Alosa takes him on board of her ship. Now that she has all three pieces of the map, she and her crew try to find the legendary hidden treasure before her father, the pirate king. She is pretty sure she will reach the treasure first since she is, after all, the daughter of the siren queen.
What I thought:
I did not enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first book. Probably because I was quite surprised by the first book, and now I knew what to expect. Maybe because of the same reason, but this book was also way more predictable than book one.
Also this book was quite boring, because of that I lost my focus on the story quite often.. Which only made it worse haha!
The only positive thing I have to say is that I really enjoyed the narrator!!
Okay so I know that this review is really short, I just don’t have to say anything about it..

Advise:
I would only recommend the first book! Since that one was really enjoyable. Definitely try out the audiobooks, if you’re into those!

What was a disappointing sequel for you?
