What is it about? (Summary from GoodReads)
This fourth
entry and prequel tells the story of Lundy, a very serious young girl who would
rather study and dream than become a respectable housewife and live up to the
expectations of the world around her. As well she should.
When she finds a doorway to a world founded on logic and reason, riddles and
lies, she thinks she’s found her paradise. Alas, everything costs at the goblin
market, and when her time there is drawing to a close, she makes the kind of
bargain that never plays out well.

My thoughts:
I absolutely love this series. I reread the first three books on audio before listening to this one. While doing that, and knowing that this one was about Lundy, I realized we actually do not really know anything about her. That made me even more interested in this book!
I love how all of this books can be read separately, but are also connected. All of them also seem to have a bit of a different genre. It is all YA fantasy, but some are also more mystery. Ever book takes place in a different ‘world’ and it’s so interesting to learn about all of them. I hope Seanan McGuire will keep writing new books in this world, I don’t think we can ever be done exploring!
I hope I have convinced people to read this series if they haven’t yet, even though this review is so short. It is just amazing, and I don’t know what to say more about it.
I’m glad you liked this one! I still haven’t read it, but I really liked the rest of the series and would love to read books about some of the other world that were mentioned in Every Heart a Doorway too.
I hope you enjoy when you’re reading this ☺️
