What is it about? (Summary from GoodReads)
Getting to Eden
brought Emmett and his crewmates one step closer to their promised fortune. But
surviving Eden may be the biggest reward of all.
Emmett Atwater thought Babel’s game sounded
easy. Get points. Get paid. Go home. But it didn’t take long for him to learn
that Babel’s competition was full of broken promises, none darker or more
damaging than the last one.
Now Emmett and the rest of the Genesis survivors
must rally and forge their own path through a new world. Their mission from
Babel is simple: extract nyxia, the most valuable material in the universe, and
play nice with the indigenous Adamite population.
But Emmett and the others quickly realize they
are caught between two powerful forces—Babel and the Adamites—with clashing
desires. Will the Genesis team make it out alive before it’s too late?

What I thought:
I really like that this book starts immediately after book 1. Especially because I read that one so recently!
All my positive and negative points are based around the same thing? Haha
- I really liked the new world, but I wanted them to tell me more about it. We now barely learnt anything
- I really like the characters dynamics, but the main character can be annoying at times.
- I loved the action at the end, but it was also confusing?!
You get me? Haha. They are all related!
These books are so good on audio! They listen really so easily and are really hard to put down! I listened to most of this book in one day, just as I did for book one!
I do have to say that I liked book one better. Maybe because it really caught me by surprise. Or this book has the standard bit disappointing middle book haha. I’m still really excited for the last book though! Especially after the cliffhanger!
Come talk to me!
What series has middle book disease?
