One of my goals last year, and basically always, is to finish series. So I wanted to look back at my 2021 reads and see how many series I finished! I will split the list in two, the first list are series that I started before 2021, the second list will be series I read in its entirety in 2021! (if I have reviews, the review of the first book will be linked!)
Series I started before 2021, and have now finished (excluding series I caught up on this year):

- The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden (this was a reread though)
- The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski
- Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
- The Licanius Trilogy by James Islington
- Bone Grace by Kathryn Purdie
- Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto
- Systems Divine by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell
- The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi
- The Aurora Cycle by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

Series I read fully in 2021:
- Brown Sisters by Talia Hibbert
- Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo (reread though)
- The Tensorate series by Neon Yang
- The Tawny Man Trilogy by Robin Hobb
- The Rainwild Chronicles by Robin Hobb

- Even the Darkest Stars by Heather Fawcett
- Children of Time duology by Adrian Tchaikovsky
- The Books of Ambha by Tasha Suri
- The Iron Fey + Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten by Julie Kagawa (reread)
- The Greatcoats by Sebastien De Castell

- A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
- Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko
- Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
- Dread Nation by Justina Ireland
- The Final Six by Alexandra Monir

Wow good job me for starting and finishing so many series! I need to continue this coming year!
I really need to read Bone Crier’s Moon. I’ve had it on my owned TBR forever now–at least well over a year–and it seems like something I’d really like. I’m hopeful since you liked it, as well, so going to try to knock it off the list this year!
It is such a fun quick read!
Congrats on knocking out some series! I’d love to start Greatcoats soon, I really enjoyed the Spellslinger books.
I loved Greatcoats way more then Spellslinger!
I finished Aurora Rising – sure will miss that crew, and I still need to finish Gilded Wolves.
Ooh Gilded Wolves was really good!
Wow this is amazing! I’m terrible at finishing series so one of my goals this year is to finish more
I hope you can finish some this year! 🙂
Way to go, Evelyn!! You are SO good at finishing series, it blows my mind haha. I don’t think I know anyone who is as good at committing to a series as you are. 😀 I need to become more like that because I am so bad at finishing series!!
Yeah it was one of the goals o really sticker to this year haha!
Oooh, this is AMAZING! Good job! I’m horrible at finishing series. I loved the Iron Fey series! I think that and Shadow and Bone are the only ones on this list that I’ve finished XD I really need to read The Shadow of What Was Lost. Gilded Wolves, Aurora Rising, and Crown of Feathers! Hopefully I can soon! 😀
It was the only goal that I kept in mind the whole year haha!
I hope you will enjoy those!
I read entirely The Poppy War series, Air Awakens series, Grishaverse, and Serpent and Dove! And then I finished the Daevabad trilogy with Empire of Gold!
The Poppy War and Daevabad
Wow you finished so many series Evelyn!!! That’s awesome… I’m good at starting them but very bad at follow through
Yeah one of my goals was to finish more series haha! Definitely did that! Going to continue with it this year I hope!
The Tensorate novellas are amazing! 😀
You finished a lot of series in 2021, well done! Last year I also focused on finishing series so, I finally finished a few: The Wormwood trilogy by Tade Thompson, Embers of War by Gareth Powell, the Binti trilogy, the Centenal cycle by Malka Older, the Winternight trilogy and the Terra Ignota quartet.
And I’m up to date with the Singing Hills cycle, the Dead Djinn Universe and Teixcalaan books. 😀
Right?! One of my faves of last year!
Ooh Binti, and winternight I reall l ike those as well!
