Your most anticipated release of the year.
Ooh so many! I recently did an TTT about this, see that list here!
But if I have to choose one, I think I have to go with Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff.

A book you are not anticipating.
A heart so fierce and broken by Brigid Kemmerer. I was not really a fan of book one, so not excited for the sequel.

Most underhyped anticipated release.
The sky weaver by Kristen Ciccarelli. I’m not sure if this one is actually underhyped, but I don’t see it that much, and I’m really excited!

A book you’ve been waiting on forever.
I would say Darkdawn again, but to say something different, Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw.

A book you’re anticipating that’s out of your comfort zone.
Well I’m mainly anticipating release in my comfort zone haha. Eehm maybe The wallflower wager by Tessa Dare? I mean I really liked Tessa Dare, but I probably won’t pick this one up immediately.

Your top 3 ‘can’t-wait’ books of the year.
Okay not going to repeat myself, so to name different things:
- Capturing the devil by Kerri Maniscalco
- All the bad apples by Moïra Fowley-Doyle.
- The demon world by Sally Green

Top 5 most anticipated backlist books on your TBR
Not really sure when a book is considered backlist, but here are some released books I’m excited for;
- The poppy war by RF Kuang
- Kings of the wyld by Nicholas Eamas
- The fifth season by NK Jemisin
- Spellslinger by Sebastien De Castell
- Summer of Salt by Katrina Leno

I can’t wait for Darkdawn!!! <3 Great Choice
Yes!! I think The Sky Weaver is very underhyped. There was a lot of love for The Last Namsara, but then people didn’t like The Caged Queen as much (I personally loved Roa’s story) and so I think this one has fallen off the hypetrain a little…Thanks for the tag!!
I also absolutely loved the sequel!
Ooh, I did not know that Shea Ernshaw was coming out with a new book, so thank you for that! On my way to preorder right now!
Haha glad I could inform you!
