My thoughts:
I bought this book almost exactly a year before I read it. I bought it because it was getting so many good reviews, and the plot sounded very good. So my expectations for this book were quite high, iteven was on my 5 star prediction list! The book did start of great, but it just did not keep my attention throughout the story.
I wasn’t really connecting to any of the characters, although I cannot really tell you why.. I did really like the found family aspect between them though!
The plot really interested me in the beginning, and I really could not stop reading. But then, for some reason, I took a two day break from this book, and it never really caught my attention again.. I’m not really sure if it is a me thing or if it is on the book..
It might just be because there were some parts that I wasn’t understanding.. Maybe reading this during my breaks at work wasn’t the best idea?!
I loved the setting of this book, especially the parts in the library, obviously!
This review is a bit messy haha! I can really see why people love this, I think this book was just not really for me.
Since I was not really enjoying the ending, I will most probably not continue with this series. But I do absolutely love this cover, so this book will stay on my shelves!
I felt very similarly about this one! I read it a few months ago and even though I thought the concept was really cool, I just didn’t really find myself connecting to it I hope your next read is better!
The concept was the best part haha!
