Tome Topple TBR!

It’s been a while since I participated in a readathon, so it was time! And I love tome topple!

This readathon is organised by Sam @Thoughts on tomes on Booktube! The main goal of this readathon is to read books over 500 pages!

Challenges:

  1. Read more than one tome
  2. Read the tome on your TBR the longest
  3. Read a tome part of a series
  4. Read a tome in a genre you don’t normally read
  5. Read an adult novel

Okay so as I have said before, I don’t own many unread books, since I’m not living at home. So I actually did not have a book over 500 pages haha. But I will figure something out!

To be read:

  • Words of radiance part 1 – Brandon Sanderson (653 pages) – Counts for challenge 2, 3 and 5
  • Dance of thieves – Mary E Pearson (508 pages) – Counts for 2, 3 and 5
  • Tess od D’Ubervilles – Thomas Hardy (518 pages) – Counts for 4 and 5 (4 I think?)
  • (The toll – Neal Shusterman (631 pages) – I’m probably picking this up soon, not sure if I can resist reading it!)

And of course if I read two of these I will also do challenge 1! I’m not really sure if Tess of D’Ubervilles will count for challenge 4, since I’ve been reading lots of classics lately!

  1. This looks like a fun one! With very few exceptions, it usually takes me *forever* to read really long books. Even audios it usually takes me a week and a half or two weeks haha. Good luck with this challenge!

  2. Man, I always find long books to be so daunting, but this sounds like a fun idea for a read-a-thon! And quite a worthy one. Long books deserve love, too. Your TBR looks great. I hope you love The Toll, and I really need to read Words of Radiance, too! Hard to go wrong with Sanderson. 😉 happy reading.

  5. Oh, I love when this readathon comes around, though I’ve never officially participated. That said, I have several THICC books in my priority TBR right now, so maybe I’ll join in! Enjoy Words of Radiance!

      It is a good reason to ‘finally’ get to those huge books!
