Top 5 Tuesday – Covers of 2019!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm! You can find more information here!

This weeks topic is Top 5 covers of 2019! I will go with books that have already been released and that I’ve read, just so that it is a bit easier to choose, since there are so many good ones!

  1. The wicked king – Holly Black
  2. Crown of feathers – Nicki Pau-Preto
  3. With the fire on high – Elizabeth Acevedo
  4. In an absent dream – Seanan McGuire
  5. The priory of the orange tree – Samantha Shannon

Oh making this list was so hard.. While looking on GoodReads to decide to what books to put on this list I saw so many good covers of books I haven’t yet read (like Wilder girls or House of salt and sorrow). So I should go and read those as well!

What is your favourite cover released in 2019 so far?

    2. There are way too many books with gorgeous covers out this year. I think my favourite that I’ve read is probably Wicked King too (I love everything about that book). Unread there’s a lot though like Spin The Dawn, The Deathless Girls & Sorcery Of Thorns. I’ve even already found 2020 covers that I’ve fallen in love with

      1. ooh sorcery of thorns is such a good one as well! I’m usually not a very big fan of people in the covers, but it works so well for this one!

  2. Oh gosh, I can’t even imagine narrowing it down to five! How daunting. 😮 I’m impressed that you did! Some beautiful covers here, too, and ones I’d definitely add to mine. I just love the cover for Crown of Feathers! That definitely caught my eye when I first saw it. I’m also definitely in love with Priory’s cover, too (and yay dragons) which makes me a little sad that I have the Kindle copy, but let’s be honest, I wouldn’t have wanted to lug a tome like that around in order to read it. xD Great picks!

    1. Yes it was hard haha!
The cover of crown of feathers is definitely why I decided to read the back!
I totally feel the same about priory, kinda want to buy to physical copy! But for reading the e-book was just easier!

  3. I definitely considered putting “With the Fire On High” on my list! I love your choices. I thought of picking “Wicked King,” too. There’s just something about water on covers that really entices me…
