I always love making lists! So I’m participating in Top 5 Saturday which is organised by Mandy @Devouring Books.
This week’s topic is books to read in quarantine, to keep it related to the current situation haha! I’m actually not in quarantine, but I am working from home quite a bit, and definitely am reading a bit more to distract myself! So here are some books I’m excited to read during this time!
- A torch against the night by Sabaa Tahir – I’m fairly certain that I will love this book, and that is exactly what I need!
- Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson – I love Brandon Sanderson, so I’m very excited to pick this one up!
- House of earth and blood by Sarah J Maas – Tbh I’m already currently reading this one! But again I’m so excited!
- Carry on by Rainbow Rowell – I’m so curious to the hype around this one (especially since I DNF’ed Fangirl haha!)
- Paper girls vol. 6 by Brian K Vaughn – This might be my favourite graphic novel series, I’m both excited and sad to pick up the last volume!
A Torch Against the Night is so good! I just love that series.
I can’t wait to pick it up soon!
I have The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin on my TBR!

I actually struggled with reading the fifth season, so I want to wait and read some reviews before getting into The city we became!

My relationship with has been messy as well! I dnfed fangirl, and thought Eleanor and Park was okay! But I’ve heard good things about Carry on, so I’m curious to try it out!
