I enjoyed making this list last week, so I thought I would do it again! This time Top 5 Saturday organised by Mandy @Devouring Books
This weeks topic is Murder mystery, which is not a genre I often read, but I am very interested in! So here are some I would like to read!

- Murder on the orient Express – Agatha Christie! I feel like this one has to be on here haha!
- The silent patient – Alex Michaelides! I actually have this one out from the library right now, so I will probably read it soon!
- Final girls – Riley Sager! I recently read Lock every door by him and really enjoyed it, so definitely want to check out more of his works!
- The cheerleaders – Kara Thomas! Recently I’ve enjoyed some YA mysteries as well, and I think I might enjoy this one as well!
- There’s someone inside your house – Stephanie Perkins! Same reason as the previous one!

All of these are in my TBR!! I can’t wait to read The Cheerleaders in particular though as I was so excited when I first learnt about that and can’t believe I haven’t read it yet. I thought Sharp Objects was a really good thriller but probably not for everyone. It had some content that some people would definitely find triggering and the entire atmosphere in the book just felt so uncomfortable and stuffy almost. Which, for the type of story it was, was perfect but I know it also made it hard for some people to read.
The cheerleaders indeed sounds so good!
I haven’t heard so many great things about Sharp objects, so interesting to see that you liked it!
I feel like the show was more popular than the book but oddly I couldn’t get into the adaptation at all :L
I don’t typically read a lot of murder mysteries, but you cannot go wrong with Agatha Christie.
Good to hear
Looks like a great list–can’t really go wrong with Christie! I went through a mystery phase in early high school and read a lot of Christie and Mary Higgens Clark back then but now days don’t read as much of the genre (although I do try to keep up with the latest Stephanie Plum book from Evanovich).
I actually haven’t read any Christiw.. (watched quite some movies thoguh!)
Ooh haven’t heard of Mary Higgens Clark, should look her up!
Great post! I’ve read Final Girls and both of the YA ones.
Did you like them? 🙂
I LOVE Murder on the Orient Express! I have am Agatha Christie on my list, as well! And we both have Final Girls on our lists! I read There’s Someone Inside Your House and it was pretty good! I hope you like it!
I really should read that one haah!
I hope so too 🙂
Kara Thomas is my favorite mystery/thriller ya writer! The Cheerleaders was pretty good but I think my favorite was The Darkest Corners followed by Little Monster. Enjoy your reads!
Ooh that sounds so good, makes me very excited to pick up anything by her!
