I always love making lists! So I’m participating in Top 5 Saturday which is organised by Mandy @Devouring Books.
This week’s topic is #ownvoices books on my TBR!

- Dread Nation by Justina Ireland (black)
- Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender (gender identification)
- Girls of paper and fire by Natasha Ngan (someone told me it is own voices, but I don’t remember in which aspect..)
- All boys aren’t blue by George M Johnson (lgbt)
- Get a life Chloe brown by Talia Hibbert (black)

There are still so many more #ownvoices books out there that I need to read!
Great picks! I have a couple of these on my list of books to check out. I reaaaalllly need to get to Dread Nation. 🙂
That one sounds so good!
I have several of these on my TBR but I loved (LOVED) Get a Life Chloe Brown! Her books are so good!
Ooh good to hear, I really want to read that one when I’m in a contemporary mood!
All of these are on my tbr, too! Trying to decide which one to read first . They all sound so good!
I hope we both enjoy them all!
Great list! I have Dread Nation & Girls of Paper and Fire on my TBR too ☺️
I hope we will both enjoy them 🙂
I really liked A Song of Wraiths and Ruin. I want to read A Song Below Water.
I just ordered A song of wraiths and ruin, can’t wait for it to arrive!
I’m halfway through reading Loveless by Alice Oseman and I highly recommend it. It’s aro/ace ownvoices.
Also, The Boy Who Steals Houses by C. G. Drews is amazing – one of my all-time fave books, and is anxiety/autism ownvoices.
Ooh I should pick up both! Thanks for the recommendations 🙂
