Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm! You can find more information here!
This weeks topic is bookish habits!
- I always read before sleeping! It is one of my favourite times of the day!
- I always have an audiobook on the go! I love audiobooks, and I can always put one on whenever I want to 🙂
- Planning my reading. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing haha, but in general I know what book (or books) I will read or listen to next!
- Not spending much money on books. This is more forced than that I do it willingly haha! I just can’t move a lot of books back home with the airplane haha! But god bless good libraries!
- I’m obsessed with my reading spreadsheet! I update it almost every day, and I love seeing all my stats and graphics!
And that’s it! Some are good and some are bad I guess 🙂

I have a lot of fun planning my reading, but I also tend to go off plan alot LOL. Great list, Evelyn!
Haha, I mostly stick to my plan, but sometimes I have to adjust since some books have to be returned to the library earlier haha!
Great list!! What all do you track in your reading spreadsheet? I just keep track of books read in mine, but I want to go back and add things like page length, how I read it, and author gender and hometown haha.
Title, author, rating of course. But also author gender, age range, genre, days read, format, source, year haha! Everything I could think of!
I also wanted to track rep, but didn;t know how to!
I used to (and still do tbh) reading before going to bed, but I always couldn’t stop myself and ended up being sleep deprived the next day, so I really try to avoid doing so! 😀
Hahah I can imagine that problem!
I certainly agree with you on having a audiobook always on the go! As soon as I finish one I always find another one nearly right away.
Yes!! Same 🙂
I’m currently trying to create a spreadsheet with the help of my technologically advance son…it’s been a whole lotta years since I had to use Excel and there’s an element of re-learning happening…but I’m so excited to be able to keep track of all my bookish stuff.
I build my spreadsheet over three years haha! Everytime I expand on it, or learn something new and that makes tracking certain things easier!
Not spending much money on books is a great one! I love my library’s annual sale, where everything is $3 or less, but of course I do end up spending more on books throughout the year than I really should, even with my frequent library visits. Nice list!
Libraries are the best!
No spreadsheets here, but I’m always reading/listening to at least two books.
Same! Always one physical and one audio 🙂
I’m obsessed with my spreadsheet too
But I can never plan my reading like you do.. that’s so awesome.. I usually spend more thinking what to read next than actually reading a book lol
I have a problem that one I start a book I already start thinking about the next read haah! Even though I’m not close to finishing at all..
I love using the library and audio books are amazing! I’m listening to one now as I blog surf!
I sometimes do that too! But sometimes I can’t do those things at the same time..
I love planning my reading! I look forward to the beginning of every year, where I sit down and go through all my reading challenge prompts and pick which books I’m going to read for them. It’s definitely something I enjoy. I never am at a loss for what to read next. Even if I didn’t have my book challenges, I always have my ever-growing TBR!
The best moments! I never know the problem of what to read next haha! I already have my stack of next books ready!
I wish I was better with your number 4. I’m good some months and other months, I go crazy.
Hahah for me it is really because I have to! I know I’m moving back home in a couple of months, by airplane, and books are just too heavy..
