Top Five Tuesday – books I didn’t get to in 2019

This weeks topic is books I didn’t get to in 2019. Eehm there are way too many hahah! But some of the ones I ‘regret’ not reading the most are:

  • The black prism by Brent Weeks – This is the only book from my 2019 TBR that I haven’t read (I think), and I don’t see myself reading it in these last 2 weeks.
  • The martian by Andy Weir – I love the movie, so I really wanted to read this, but it just didn’t happen..
  • The mime order by Samantha Shannon – I really enjoyed book one, and I have no idea why I did not pick this one up..
  • Girls of paper and fire by Natasha Ngan – I think I would love this, and for some reason I still didn’t read it..
  • An ember in the ashes by Sabaa Tahir – I’ve been meaning to read this for years, and still haven’t, maybe I can binge most of the books next year!

There are many more, and definitely some that I’m secretly still hoping to read this year haha!

  1. I still need to read An Ember In The Ashes & Girls Of Paper And Fire so hopefully we’ll both manage to get them read this year (: I really enjoyed The Mime Order (but still need to read book three) so I hope that you do too (: hopefully you’ll get all of these read in 2020 (:

  3. The Mime Order was great, I am still waiting for the next one to come out. I hope you are able to get to it in 2020!

    1. Yeah I keep thinkin gmaybe I should just wait with reading until more of the series is released haha!

  5. Definitely bump The Martin up your TBR, if you enjoyed the movie I think you will like the book too 🙂 It’s one of my favorites!

  7. Girls of Paper and Fire was good, I still need to read the sequel! I loved The Martian, the movie is pretty great, but the book itself is just so much FUN.

  8. Great list Evelyn !! I have both Black Prism and Ember in the Ashes on my 2020 tbr now because I couldn’t get to them either… Hope we both enjoy them ..
