Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm! You can find more information here!
This weeks topic is books that caused a major hangover! Most of the time I ‘force’ myself to start a new book, so I just ignore these ‘book hangovers’. But some that definitely would have caused me some are:

- The last namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli (and the sequels!) – I really can’t wait to what she will write next!
- Scythe by Neal Shusterman (and the sequels!) – My mind was blown after each of these books!
- Truthwitch by Susan Dennard (and the sequels!) –The fourth book cannot come quick enough!
- An ember in the ashes by Sabaa Tahir – I really should read the sequel to this one ASAP, but also I don’t want to go through this series to quickly since the release of book four is still very far away!
- Lock every door by Riley Sager – A very recent read! I need to read more of his work!

Some books that I would have put on this list if I wasn’t limited to five: Illuminae by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman, The last magician by Lisa Maxwell, Nevernight by Jay Kristoff and The name of the wind by Patrick Rothfuss!
So basically I should have made a top 10 list I guess haha!
Great list! Glad you liked Ember in the Ashes so much that it gave you a hangover lol. 🙂
Haha yeah!
I loooved The Last Namsara, give me those How to Train Your Dragon vibes!
Haha yes definitely!
There have definitely been a few hangovers over the last while. Some that come to mind are the Becky Chambers books. They usually leave me dumbfounded.
Oh I really liked thelong way to a small angry planet!
Scythe and Thunderhead absolutely gave me book hangovers – can’t wait to get to The Toll.
Hope you will love that one!
I haven’t read any of these, but own them all and want to read them all! Now I’m scared LOL
