Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah @the Bionic Bookworm and is now being hosted by Meeghan @Meeghan Reads!
This week’s topic is books on my TBR since forever. Instead of looking at the books that I want to read the longest in my head or on my physical TBR, I thought it was fun to look back at the books I put on my want to read list on GoodReads the longest ago! I started my GoodReads account in 2016, so some books have been there for quite a while, but surprisingly none of these I’ve actually added in 2016!

- A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness – added March 8th 2017
- The Call of the Wild by Jack London – added September 11th 2017
- The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson – added October 26th 2017
- The Ocean at the End on the Lane by Neil Gaiman – added November 7th 2017
- Threads of Power #1 by VE Schwab – added December 27th 2017 (but this one is still not out yet..)
- Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor – added January 8th 2018

One extra, since I feel like the VE Schwab one doesn’t count ahha! I’m actually surprised there are so little from 2017?! I guess I either read the books I added in that year, or have removed them. I do do that sometimes!
I haven’t heard of a few of these. I definitely do want to check Akata Witch out sometime though, it’s been on my tbr for a while too.
I don’t know what’s been on my tbr the longest, probably the ex library books that I still need to read & a lot of urban fantasy that I got on offer. Both I got years ago
A Monster Calls is soooo good! I hope you like all of these!
Thanks 🙂
Ooh, so many good ones! I’ve read 4 of these, and loved them all (A Monster Calls, Call of the Wild, Akata Witch, The Ocean at the End of the Lane). Can’t go wrong with any of them!!
They all sound so good!
Oh, The Ocean at the End of the Lane has been on my radar since it came out, but it’s always been so expensive… Maybe soon I’ll pick up a copy!! Hope you enjoy these when you get to them, and I hope you had fun this week!!
It is!
I would like to read The Call of the Wild at some point too!
I hope we both pick it up!
