Top Five Tuesday – Favourite audiobooks

This weeks topic is favourite audiobooks. I love this topic, since I’m a huge fan of audiobooks, I always have one going! But that also means I’m listening to many, so narrowing this down to five is going to be down!

  1. The last magician – Lisa Maxwell
  2. The name of the wind – Patrick Rothfuss
  3. Crown of feathers – Nicki Pau-Preto
  4. Daisy Jones and the six – Taylor Jenkins Reid
  5. The thousandth floor – Katherine McGee

For all of these that are series, I of course also loved the sequels!

  3. I really want to listen to the Daisy Jones audiobook as I’ve heard a lot of good things about it plus I think the interview format would come across really well on audio.
    I would love to read The Name of The Wind as I’ve heard so many good things about it and I want to read more adult fantasies!!
    I think my favourite audiobooks so far have been ‘Norse Mythology’, narrated by the author and ‘I am the Messenger’ by Markus Zusak because the narrator was Australian and I think the character’s voice came across so well!! I’ve heard good things about Illuminae as well.

    1. Yes almost everyone seems to love that one!
      The name of the wind is sooo good, both audio and just reading!
      I forgot to put Norse mythology on here, it’s fantastic!
      I should look into I am the messenger!
      I want to reread illuminae on audio, I’ve heard amazing things as well!

  4. Ooh, I’ve actually listened to Crown of Feathers and Talon from this list! Do you have a favorite narrator?

    1. They are some that I do enjoy more! But I can never remember narrators names

  5. I really need to start listening to more audiobooks – so far it’s just been one. I have heard that Daisy Jones is fantastic as one due to its format though. I love the Thousandth Floor (: and I’m desperate to read the Last Magician but I’ll read that one as o brought a copy earlier this year.

  6. I don’t listen to a ton of audiobooks, but I have read (or plan to read) some of the books on this list, at least! I will say that the first (and only) audiobook I’ve listened all the way through is Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, and I was so impressed with the full cast and everything. It was a great experience. :3

  7. I only heard one audiobook before, but I didn’t like it, so I stopped and never tried it again.
    I def. should try another audiobook, it would make my trainrides so much better. 🙂

  8. I’d have to say A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue – the narrator was fantastic.

  10. I need to listen to Daisy Jones and the Six. I loved reading the book, so I”m sure I’ll enjoy listening to it. Great list!
