This week’s meme is auto-buy authors! I don’t think I have read all the works of these authors, but I will talk about that when I name them:

  1. VE Schwab – Only haven’t read the near witch.
  2. Leigh Bardugo – I think I read all her works.
  3. Jay Kristoff – Actually only read Nevernight series and his work with Amie Kaufman, so still some to go 🙂
  4. Moïra Fowley-Doyle – Only read Spellbook of the lost and found, but really excited for her coming release, and will definitely pick up her previous release!
  5. Brandon Sanderson – Read mistborn, and started The way of kings, so many more to go!
  6. Julie Kagawa – I haven’t read blood of Eden, but I think I will. And I haven’t read the second series in the Iron fey series but I don’t think I will.
  7. Temi Oh – I absolutely loved Do you dream of Terra Two? So I will definitely pick up her next release (if that comes).
  8. Cassandra Clare – I had to think really hard about naming Clare, but honestly I read all her works (I think) and will continue to do so. The reason I doubted was because I kinda fell out of love with her books, but fell back into love with them ?!
  9. Lisa Maxwell – I read the Last magician and The devil’s thief, which I absolutely loved. I’m also interested in reading unhooked, and anything new she will release!
  10. Courtney C Stevens – I’ve read two of her books, and absolutely loved them! She has some older books I’m not really interested, but I will definitely read her coming releases!

  1. I still need to read a lot of books by some of these authors but I’m incredibly excited for a lot of them and feel like they will definitely become auto buy authors for me soon.

  5. Leigh Bardugo is absolutely one of my auto-buy authors as well!! I love her work so much (except for the Grisha trilogy haha). And I love Victoria Schwab too! I truly cannot wait for her Addie LaRue book

    1. I would say mistborn, but to be honest I only read that one and the way of kings
      But on his website he recommends different starting points depending on what you like, so you could check that out!

  9. Hehe, Sanderson is on both our lists! I should be starting Mistborn soon, and I’m a bit ashamed I haven’t read it yet. xD You’ve got a lot of great authors here that I love, too. I’ve only read The Illuminae Files by Jay Kristoff, but I loved it, and I’m looking forward to reading the Nevernight trilogy at the end of this year. :3 Oh! This reminds me that I totally forgot to read The Devil’s Thief. 😮 How did that happen?! Great list!

  12. Do You Dream of Terra-Two is on my August TBR! I’ve seen The Last Magician around a lot—maybe I’ll read that one too? Or at least add it to the TBR? *weeps in TBR*
