About the meme:
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl! The read more about this meme, look at this page!
This week’s topic is Books for my younger self, so I’m going to list some books I have read as teenager/adult that I would have loved as a kid!

- Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend – I absolutely love this series, and would definitely have loved is as a younger person as well!
- Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger – This reminds me that I really need to continue ASAP!
- Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery – Not sure about this one, I might not have appreciated the atmosphere of this book as much as I do now!
- The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum – I mean why did I not read this as a kid?
- A Pinch of Magic by Michelle Harrison – I loved these magic/adventure stories when I was younger, and I still do!
- School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani – I would have love Sophie so much haha!
- Trials of Apollo by Rick Riordan – Honestly I could have chosen any Rick Riordan books!

I feel like this list should contain Middle Grade books haha, and honestly I don’t read that many?! I really should since I almost always end up really loving them!
Also confession time, I wanted to put Matilda on this list, but I actually have not read this book…!?! I know I will love it, and I know I would have loved it when I was younger, and somehow I still have not read it..
Great list! Nevermoor and A Pinch of Magic are both on my TBR.
I hope you will read and love them!
I haven’t read any of these ♀️, but I do have A Pinch of Magic on my TBR & I’m excited to get to it now ☺️
Ooh I hope you will love it!
I’ve been wanting to read Keeper of the Lost Cities! I’ll have to try that one out. This is such a great list!!
It is so much fun! You definitely need to try it!
Great list, Evelyn! I still haven’t read the Anne series, I keep meaning to do that. 🙂
Book one is so good! I need to read the rest as well!
I grew up on Anne of Green Gables and I still re-read the series pretty frequently. I also definitely wish I’d found Riordin earlier though!
I really should read the rest of the Anne series!
I didn’t do a post this week because I’m still pretty young and wouldn’t be able to make a very good list!
I am reading Anne of Green Gables with my mom and sister right now, and it’s really good! I first got into the Percy Jackson books when I was ten, then read the rest of his that were out when I was 12. Now, I’m 13 and eagerly awaiting the last Trials of Apollo book!
I definitely recommend reading Matilda: it’s really good! I read The School for Good and Evil a few times, but liked it less and less. I still think that it’s pretty good though.
This is a great list!!
Ooh I´m also very excited for the last Apollo book!
It is ridiculous that I have not read Matilda haha!
I agree with you School for Good and Evil book one was probably the best in the series!
I always loved Anne of Green Gables – definitely a book / character that works for me at any age 🙂
Yeah for me as well!
Nevermoor is a great pick.
My post .
Thanks!
I was lucky that got into Rick Roordan at the right time. But I still need to read the keepers of the lost city.
I hope you do! They are so good!
