About the meme:
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl! The read more about this meme, look at this page!
This week’s meme is Books I wish I read as a child:

- Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery – I’m actually not sure if I would have liked this reading it as a child, but I feel like I should have haha!
- Keepers of the lost cities by Shannon Messenger – This is currently one of my favourite Middle Grade series, and I’m sure I would have loved it even more if possible) if I read it as a child!
- Most Rick Riordan books – I think I read most of them already being out of the Middle Grade range! (which is not weird, since most of them were written then!)
- Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend – Again, one of my favourite MG series! I can’t wait to see what happens in book three!
- The school for good and evil by Soman Chainani – This whole series has such an interesting concept, and I know I would have loved it reading it as a child.
- Aru Shah and the end of time by Roshani Chokshi – Same story as for rick Riordan books!
- The secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett – Same story as for Anne of Green gables, I love it now, not really sure if I would have loved it as a child!
- Anything Roald Dahl – TBH, I still haven’t really read any.. I think I only read Charlie and the chocolate factory.. I know, not even Matilda.. Guess I know what I have to do!

These are only eight haha, I’m not that big of a MG reader I guess, most of the MG books I’ve read recently are on here ahah! I do really love MG books, so I guess I need to check out some more 🙂
Anne of Green Gables would be on my list too, I don’t know how I’ve never read that series. Great list!
I actually have only read book one haha, I really shoud read the rest though!
Great list! I haven’t read Keeper of the Lost Cities or Nevermoor. I’ll have to add them to my TBR! 🙂
Both are so good!
I haven’t read any Rick Riordan books yet and I wish I would have picked them up when I was younger
Personally I still really enjoy the humour in his books, so you might still love them!
Wait you haven’t read any Roald Dahl?? That’s crazy! Fantastic Mr Fox & The Twists were a couple of my favourites, but I loved them all. Also really wish I’d have read anything by Rick Riordan when I was younger. Great post
.. nope!! I know it is so weird! I really should pick some up!
I really want to read School of Good and Evil too! My sister also has the books, so I really have no excuse for not reading them haha.
Oh I have read it! I really recommend it! If you’re into audiobooks, those are very good!
Percy Jackson and Nevermoor are ones I would still like to read! I never read a Roald Dahl book.
Ooh I really recommend both! Especially Nevermoor!
Good to hear I’m not the only one haha!
YES YES YES. Such great choices on your list 🙂 The Trials of Apollo, Nevermoor and The School of Good and Evil were also on my list. I haven’t read Keepers of the Lost Cities but it’s definitely a book I think I’d enjoy reading. I’m adding it to my TBR. Fantastic post Evelyn!
Keepers of the lost cities is amazing! It might be my favourite middle grade series!
I loved reading Roald Dahl as a kid, and same goes for me with Rick Riordan. I tried reading “The Lost Hero” but I was annoyed by the middle grade humor.
I’m so sad I didn’t read Roald Dahl, probably won’t be the same if I read it now!
