This week’s meme is Reasons why I love [insert], so I decided to go with reasons why I love fantasy books:
- Magic – Who doesn’t love magic!
- Fantastic creatures – Again, who doesn’t love magical creatures!
- New worlds/ world-building – If I’m correct Urban fantasy are fantasy books taking place in our world, and that’s exactly the reason why I often don’t like urban fantasy haha! I love discovering new worlds!
- I love learning new things – Kinda similar to the previous points, but I love learning new things! I love learning about all these magic systems, politics, and new worlds! And sometimes even creatures I’ve never heard about before!
- It’s Epic! This mainly counts for High fantasy tbh!
- Escapism – I guess this kinda counts for each genre! Getting sucked in by a books definitely counts as escapism (in my opinion). For me that just happens the mot with fantasy books!
- Did I mention Magic?
- Dragons!
Okay I was kinda running out of reasons there! But I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE fantasy! In case you missed the memo!

I am so curious as what the appeal of dragons is? I have seen that one so many times today!
Haha I’ve seen them a lot as well! I guess they just really give magical vibes?! Although there are many magical creatures out there!
