About the meme:
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl! The read more about this meme, look at this page!
This week’s meme is Spring Cleaning. In my bookshelves I have one small shelf filled with books I want to get rid of. I’m currently trying to sell them through a website until the second-hand bookstore is open again and I can sell the books to them! (although I would get more if I sell them through the website, but it takes forever to sell all of them haah). Some of the more popular books that I’m trying to sell are:

- The Star Touched Queen and A Crown of Wishes by Roshni Chokshi – I thought these books were okay, but wasn’t really impressed by them.
- Monters of Men by Patrick Ness – I have already sold the first two books haha
- Everless and Evermore by Sara Holland – Again these books were okay, but no too impressed.
- Never Fade and In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken – Already sold book one haha, liked them when I read them but will never reread.
- And I Darken and Now I Rise by Kiersten White – I’ve come to the realisation that Kiersten White’s work is not for me..
- Cogheart by Peter Bunzl – I will continue with this series, but I’m happy with just reading them on Scribd
- The Girl of Fire and Thorns and The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson – Again, enjoyed it when I read it, don’t think I would like it now..
- And the Ocean was Our Sky by Patrick Ness – I’m actually doubting about this one, didn’t really like the story, but the drawings are gorgeous!

Looks like you’re getting rid of some good books! I really need to read Cogheart, and And the Ocean was Our Sky sounds like a wonderful book too! Hope you’re able to sell them!
I do recommend both of them! I will continue with Cogheart series, I just do not need to own them physically haha!
I also have that Rae Carson series but I think I’d like to hold on to them because I did enjoy them enough to reread them some day. Good job going through and purging your books!
That’s good!
I have a copy of And The Ocean Was Our Sky that I still haven’t read, but I’m still interested and hope to get to it soon. Good for you for selling books! I should probably make an attempt as well.
Ooh it’s worth the read! The drawings are amazing!
I think the only one of these I have on my TBR is Everless and it’s been on there for a while! I also enjoyed a Girl of Fire and Thorns, but definitely didn’t love it and like you said, I’m not sure I would enjoy it as much now 😀
Everless was fun when I read it, but I think there are better books out there
What website do you use to sell back books? I’ve been trying to look around for one and wasn’t sure which one was good. I have a few books I need to sell haha.
I´m using a dutch website.. Since then the shipping wouldn´t be too expensive haha!
My local indie takes books for store credit, which is really nice. They don’t always take all my books (even really popular ones if they already have enough copies), but at least I can make a little money to spend on more books. I donate whatever books they don’t want to the library. Either way I get them off of my overcrowded shelves!
Good luck selling all yours. I bet the Ness book will be popular since the first book in the series was just made into a movie.
Happy TTT!

Ooh that is also a nice option! Would spend my money in the second hand store anyway probably haha!
After 200 pages, I DNF’d And I Darken. That was the most boring book lol I don’t know if I’d give any of her other works a try.
Glad I’m not the only one haha!
I hope you find sellers for the rest of these books soon!

Thanks 🙂
How did you like The Chaos Walking series? I have the first book and have yet to start reading it. I also saw that it is going to be a movie!
I enjoyed it when I read it! I just know I will never reread it!
Great list! I really like the sound of And I Darken, but I’ve seen so many meh reviews for it that I probably won’t pick it up.
Haha I would say you won’t miss too much..
I just donated a box to our library – they have a sale twice a year to raise money. Gives me space to buy more!
Ooh and it always feels good to donate to libraries, especially if they use it to raise money!
