About the meme:
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl! The read more about this meme, look at this page!
This week’s meme is winter TBR, but since we do this every season I think it is fun to look back at my fall TBR to see how I did! (If I have a review it will be linked!)

- Ninth House – Leigh Bardugo – I started this, but unfortunately DNF’ed it..
- Gideon the ninth – Tamsyn Muir – Read it, but wasn’t really a fan!
- Words of radiance – Brandon Sanderson – At the time of writing this I’ve read 1, and I hope to read part 2 soon (hopefully at the time this is being posted!)
- Rivers of London – Ben Aaronovitch – Read it! Enjoyed it, but not sure if I will continue the series.

5. The babysitters coven – Kate Williams – Read it! Another one I wasn’t a huge fan of.
6. Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard – Didn’t read, I just don’t want to have to wait for the next one haha.
7. Dance of thieves – Mary E Pearson – Another one I read, but didn’t really like.

8. The dragon republic – RF Kuang – Absolutely loved it! favourite!
9. Girls of paper and fire – Natasha Ngan – I should have read this one, I think I will love it !
10. Wilder girls – Rory Power – This one was such a pleasant surprise, didn’t really expected to love it this much!
I did pretty good on reading these I would say! But out of the 7 books I read (not counting words of radiance), I loved two and didn’t really like any of the others..
But now onto my winter TBR:

- The queen of nothing – Holly Black.
- Winterwood – Shea Ernshaw.
- Bloodwitch – Susan Dennard (trying again haha).
- Wicked saints – Emily A Duncan.

5. Children of virtue and vengeance – Tomi Adeyemi.
6. Shadowblack – Sebastian De Castell.
7. The ten thousand doors of January – Alix E Harrow.

8. The words of radiance part 2 – Brandon Sanderson (assuming I haven’t read it yet or am currently reading it)
9. Harry Potter and the goblet of fire (illustrated) – JK Rowling.
10. The night country – Melissa Albert.
You did really well with your Fall TBR, it’s just a shame that so many of them didn’t live up to your expectations. Hopefully you’ll enjoy your winter TBR more. A lot of them are books that I want to read too.
I hope we will both enjoy thse that you also want to read!
Looks like you did pretty good with your fall TBR!
Yes I did! I was quite surprised!
I should probably take stock of my last TBR post too — I’ve got a feeling that I’ll have only read a fraction. But that’s okay — I like changing my reading plans to suit my moods! Can’t wait to hear what you think of Winterwood! And I really need to start two of the series you have on your TBR — Children of Blood & Bone and The Cruel Prince. Enjoy!
My TTT
Yeah I like that these lists are just plans, we can end up reading whatever we want haha!
Hope you will enjoy too!
I like your idea of going back to look at your autumn reads – I should do this, maybe next year.
Good luck with your winter reads.
Lynn 😀
Yeah it is fun to see if I actually read the books I wanted to haha!
Thanks!
The Queen of Nothing is PERFECTION! I haven’t read any of the others yet, but they all sound amazing! Happy Reading! 🙂
My Top Ten Tuesday!
I just got my copy from the library yesterday! Can’t wait to pick it up later this week!
Enjoy the second half of Words of Radiance! I really loved that book. I’m hoping to start the Spellslinger series in the new year, really looking forward to it!
I just picked it up like an hour ago! So far so good!
I really liked Spellslinger! Hope you will as well!
I haven’t read these, but I’ve heard a lot of praise for many of them. I hope you love them all.
Here’s what I plan to read: My TTT.
That’s good to hear 🙂
This is the perfect time of year to read Harry Potter. 🙂
My TTT.
Yes definitely!
Great job on your Fall TBR but sorry you didn’t love a ton of them. I put Prisoner of Azkaban illustrated on my list, but I’d definitely love to read Goblet of Fire too. Need to get my hands on that one!! I’m ALMOST finished with The Hazel Wood, and loving it, so I’m excited for The Night Country as well.

whoops, forgot to add my blog: http://www.shootingstarsmag.net
Yeah that was a bit disappointing to see haha
Glad you’re loving it!
You actually read some of the books on your TBR list! Nice. I tend to make these lists and forget about them, but that’s okay – it’s fun to think about what I want to read, even if I never actually get around to reading the books I list.
WILDER GIRLS was a fun one, wasn’t it? I’m still all about dystopians and it was riveting.
Happy TTT!

I also make the list, and not look at it until next season haha! So it is always a surprise to see which books I actually read!
Wilder girls was the best, one of themost surprising reads for me this year!
I really want to read Winterwood this month too but judging by my reading progress so far, I don’t think I’ll get to it on time 😀
I’m not sure if I will read it this month either, but hopefully early next year!
Great list! So many of these are on my TBR. I want to read Ninth House, Gideon the Ninth, Girls of Paper and Fire and Wilder Girls, and I need to give The Poppy War, The Hazel Wood and Children of Blood and Bone a try, too. I’m reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January at the moment and really enjoying it. Happy reading!
The poppy war is one of my favourites this year! And maybe Wilder girls as well! I hope you will end up reading both of those!
Happy reading!
So many good books! I can’t wait to see what you think of The Ten Thousand Doors of January. Hope you have a great reading month! ❤
I really hope I will love it haha
Thanks, you too!
I love how you did a look back at Spring TBR!! It’s a shame so many of the books were disappointing but your winter TBR has some great titles on it! I hope you end up enjoying them awesome post Evelyn!
Yeah I always like to see if I actually read the books that I say I will read haha! That was a bit disappointing yes, hopefully it will go better with this TBR 🙂
Thanks 🙂
