Okay so this Thursday I caved and bought a Switch and Animal Crossing! I’m BLAMING to whole book community for this! And I’m pretty sure they all feel good about it haha!
I’m loving this game, so peaceful! Kinda want to buy other games now too! Also this means I’m listening to lots of audiobooks haha!
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
House of earth and blood – Sarah J Maas – 3 stars! This book was a bit too long for me, could definitely have been 200/300 pages shorter! The ending was a wild ride though, and I’m curious to what will happen in the sequel!
Carry on – Rainbow Rowell (audio) – 3 stars! I kinda lost interest halfway through the audiobook, didn’t really care what was going to happen.. Really doubting if I should listen to the sequel, any advice?
Race the sands* – Sarah Beth Durst – 4 stars! I really liked this one, can’t wait to read more from this author!
Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets – JK Rowling (audio) – 5 stars! I’m realizing how many fun parts are left out of the movies.. I mean Nick’s death party?!
Dear girls – Ali Wong (audio) – 4 stars! This was such a good combination between humour and actual advice!
Two dark reigns* – Kendare Blake – 3.5 stars! I’m really enjoying this series, but it is starting to become a bit confusing with the growing cast of characters!
What I’m currently reading:
A torch against the night – Sabaa Tahir – I’m so happy to continue this series, and loving it!
Opposite of always – James A Reynolds (audio) – I really enjoyed the beginning of this book, but now I’m rolling my eyes a lot.. We will see how this one ends!

What I watched:
Locke and Key – Season 1, episode 7-10 – I didn’t really care for the high school drama parts, but the keys were pretty interesting, will definitely watch season 2 whenever that comes!
Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife – Had to watch it before listening to her book haha, was so good!
The elite – season 4, episode 1-5 – Decided to not continue watching this.. I feel like they didn’t have enough story to continue after season 2, but still did because it was doing so well!
I have The Opposite of Always on my TBR. I hope it comes back to being good!!
I also have A Torch Against the Night to read soon… but I’m also thinking I might keep it for closer to December?!
Unfortunately for me it didn’t, but i hope you will love it! I think this is just not the type of book for me!
I just finished it and I absolutely loved it! But maybe waiting is better haha, then you can read book 3 and 4 immediately!
I love animal crossing! I haven’t played since I used to play with my old nintendo DS system. I almost want to hunt down a switch just to play AC lol. Glad you’re enjoying it. 🙂
