So apparently last Friday was my 2 year blog anniversary.. and I was unaware until WordPress gave me a notification! How am I already doing this for two years! Still loving it though!
My reading mood is still going strong! I participated in the stay at home Reading Rush this past weekend, and also Raedathon on Saturday!
Also still listening to quite some audiobooks while playing Animal Crossing. And honestly while doing anything, I’m really in an audiobook listening mood!
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):

Opposite of always* – Justin A Reynolds (audio) – 2 stars! I liked the start of this book, but then it became too cheesy for me.
A torch against the night* – Sabaa Tahir – 5 stars! I am absolutely loving this series! Can’t wait to read the third book!
Recursion* – Blake Crouch (audio) – 3.5 stars! I really liked the beginning of the book, but I started to lose my attention towards the end.
Giant days vol. 8 – John Allison – 4 stars! This graphic novel series is just so much fun, if you ever need a quick fun read, definitely check this out!
Children of the whales vol. 12 – Abi Umeda – 4 stars! I just love this mange series!
The scapegracers* – Hannah Abigail Clarke – 2 stars! The premise of this book sounded good, but the book itself was so messy..
Girl, stop apologizing – Rachel Hollis (audio) – 3 stars! Definitely some good advice in here, but I feel like we talked about her accomplishments a lot. Maybe some people like that, but I didn’t..
A wizard of earhsea – Ursula LeGuin – 3.5 stars! This is quite a slow book, and I’m not sure what I think of the main character, but the plot was interesting!
Archie vol. 5 – Mark Waid – 3 stars! Always fun to read!

What I’m currently reading:
Hero at the fall – Alwyn Hamilton – I’m liking this conclusion, but it is also a bit predictable!
Fiery Cross – Diana Gabledon – since I’m listening to a lot of audiobooks lately I thought now was a good time to tackle the next Outlander book!

Reviews I posted:
Race the sands – Sarah Beth Durst
The fantastical exploits of Gwendolyn Gray – BA Williamson

What I watched:
Tiger king – This was.. interesting?! Tbh I have no idea why I watched this, but it was compelling enough to watch the whole thing haha!
Unorthodox – Only watched one episode, I might continue later on, but I’m not sure this is really for me..
Lucifer – Season 1, episode 1-8 – People kept telling me to watch this, and now I know why! I’m enjoying this so much!
I’m so conflicted!! Do I read A Torch Against the Night soon, or keep it and A Reaper at the Gates closer to December?!!
Hahah, I couldn’t wait! (six months is not so long anyway..?!) Maybe read one, wait a bit again and then read book three haha
Happy blog anniversary, Evelyn!
Thanks 🙂
lucifer is such a fun show! I’m glad you’re enjoying Torch Against the Night. That’s one of the series I’m going to be tackling soon, and I’ve been intimidated because I want to love it!
It really is, can’t stop watching haha!
I would recommend to wait closer to December, when the fourth book releases, then you can binge the whole series! Because now I really want to read book three, but I know I then have to wait months for the last one!
Congrats on two years! I hope you enjoy I Wish You All the Best. I loved that one! Plus, Lucifer is great <3 It's addictively funny and is a must-watch in my household 😀 Great reading week Evelyn.
Thanks 🙂
I wish you all the best sounds very good!
I’m loving Lucifer! I can’t stop watching haha
Happy two year blogging anniversary!
Thanks 🙂
I’ve had The Opposite of Always on my tbr but I don’t know now, haha.
Lots of people do like it! It is just not for me I guess..
So many great books! I loved Alex + Ada — hope you enjoy it too. Have fun with The Fiery Cross! I tried to get my husband to read it (he’s read the first four), and he quit after the first hundred pages. I think the size was just too much for him. 🙂
It sounds good!
So far I’m enjoying it, but I completely understand being overwhelmed by the size of the book haha
Dragon Pearl! I hope you like it.
And I’m sad about The Scapegracers, it really did sound great. I have an ARC of it I got a while ago and I’ll still give it a try because of that, but that’s not encouraging.
I hope so too!
I thought it would be so good.. maybe going in with lower expectations will help!
Congrats for two years! Great reading wrap-up. I need to start the 2nd Outlander but intimidated by the size . Oh the Five is on my TBR too, I’ll be interested to see what you think of it!
Thanks!
They really are! Since I’m really in an audiobook mood I decided I could handle a very long one haah!
The five sounds very good!
