Another very busy week for my thesis.. If I was not working in the lab, I was (trying) to write from home! But I’m almost there, only one more month?!
But as you might be able to imagine, this made me very tired, so my reading has been slowing down compared to previous weeks. Still reading quite a bit though, especially since I can listen to my audiobook while doing certain work on the lab haha!
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
We hunt the flame* – Hafsah Faizal – 3.5 stars! I really liked the story, but I struggled with the writing.
The fiery cross – Diana Gabledon (audio) – 4 stars! I did it, I just finished it in April! It felt like it took me forever haha! I really enjoy this series, but the books could have been slightly shorter haha!
Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban – JK Rowling (audio) – 5 stars! I’m loving rereading the series on audio for the first time!
Dragon pearl* – Yoon Ha Lee – 2 stars! I just did not connect with this story..

What I’m currently reading:
Invisible women – Caroline Criado Perez – Normally I don’t read non-fiction physically, so I don’t know why I’m taking that route with this one haha. I’m reading it pretty slowly though..
Blood heir – Amélie Wen Zhao (audio) – Really enjoying this so far!

Reviews I posted:
Two dark reigns – Kendare Blake
A torch against the night – Sabaa Tahir
Steelheart – Brandon Sanderson

What I watched:
Too hot to handle – This busy week required me watching a brainless show..! These people though..!
Grease – I randomly felt like rewatching this!
Happy reading!
Glad you are enjoying Blood Heir! I really liked it.
Yeah it is so good!
Good luck with The Outlander series, I want to read it but the length of those books scare me. I also watched Too Hot To Handle recently (with a friend) and it was wild to say the least!
Yeah those books are huge! I need a long break now haha! I do really recommend them though (especially on audio!)
Wild is definitely a good description haha!
