This was a great week! It started with me finding an apartment and then I went to Lyon to visit some friends! (I know travelling right now is a bit controversial, but this was probably the last chance I could see them in a long time!)
Didn’t read as much as I normally do, but sometimes other things have priority!
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
The peasant´s dream* – Melanie Dickerson – 3.5 stars! Fun reversed Cinderella retelling!
The storyteller’s daughter* – Victoria McCombs – 3 stars! Rumpelstiltskin retelling! Definitely enjoyable!
The king of crows – Libba Bray – 2.5 stars! Kinda disappointed in this ending, felt a bit convenient. But I still really loved the characters!

What I’m currently reading:
Assassin’s quest – Robin Hobb – Loving this, but going very slowly through this audiobook!
The eye of the world – Robert Jordan – Okay, but seriously why did I not pick this up earlier?! I’m flying through this, it is so good!

Reviews I posted:
Rebel Spy – Veronica Rossi (blog tour)
The witches of Willow cove – Josh Roberts
B*witch – Paige McKenzie & Nancy Ohlin
Other posts:
Top Ten Tuesday – Most anticipated releases July – December
Night Owls and Summer Skies – Author Q&A
Let’s Talk Bookish – What makes a book YA?

Books I bought/received:
How to Break an Evil Curse – Laura Morrison (NetGalley)
French Harry Potter and the philosophers stone

You still managed to get in a good amount of reading even though you were busy with other things. Glad you got a chance to see your friends–those kinds of things are important. 🙂
Haha yes, the ARCs I read at the end of the week were pretty short!
They are 🙂
I’m really curious about Storyteller’s Daughter – I have to get to my arc soon. Glad you enjoyed it.
I’m posting my review later this week! It was a fun read!
The Storyteller’s Daughter was definitely a cool retelling!
Yes!!
I’m all for a Rumplestiltskin retelling – can’t wait to read the review! Congrats on finding an apartment!
It is coming later this week!
Thanks 🙂
