Weekly wrap up! (29/4 – 5/5)

What I read this week:

Duchess deal – Tessa Dare (finished) – 3 stars, honestly I was just here for the sexy times, the actual storyline was not that great.

My sister, the serial killer – Oyinkan Braithwate (audio, finished) – 4 stars, this was a weird but interesting story!

Children of the whales vol.5 – Abi Umeda – 4 stars, weird manga but I just really enjoy it! Also the covers are so beautiful!

We are okay – Nina LeCour – 5 stars, this book surprised me, I did not expect to love it as much as I did!

Nyxia uprising – Scott Reintgen (audio) –  3 stars, it was an okay ending to the series, but I think book one was my favourite!

It looks like a lot, but honestly most of them were pretty short!

What I’m currently reading:

Wildcard – Marie Lu (audio) – Wanted to cross of another series of my list! I’m enjoying it so far.

Madame Bovary – Gustave Flaubert – This is actually my classic of April, but didn’t have the time to read it.. So doing it now 🙂

The living god – Kaytalin Platt (e-arc) – The magic system in this book is so interesting, can’t wait to learn more!

Normally I don’t read two physical books at once, but since one of them is a classic I thought this might be a good way to get through it more quickly! Normally it takes me a long time to read a classic, but if I make progress in another book as well, maybe I can trick my brain in thinking I read more haha!

Reviews I posted:

Hazel & Holly – DNF review

Coraline & my sister, the serial killer – short audiobook reviews

The dreadful tale of Prosper Redding

The red scrolls of magic

  2. I’m drowning in a-ARCs too! I went on a little bit of a requesting spree and got approved for more than I thought I would.I just started The Bone Houses! Can’t wait to see what you think of it 🙂
