So this week was stressful.. Almost half of my colleagues (~15) in the lab were at home this week. Some needed to be tested, and were positive.. Some were send home since they had been close to those people.. So this whole week was just waiting for their results, and see what would happen with work. And of course since so many were not there the rest of us were really busy.. But luckily people will start getting back throughout next week, so hopefully it will get better!
Also cases are going up a lot again here, so rules are, finally, getting stricter! Let’s see if that will help!
But nevertheless, I read an amazing book this week! Also I played a lot of Harry Potter Cluedo with a friend this weekend, which was lots of fun!
What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
Iron Heart* – Nina Varela (audio) – 3 stars! Bit bumped that I did not love this one as much as book one..
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue* – VE Schwab – 4.5 stars! What a gorgeous story! Will definitely reread at some point!
Felix Ever After – Kacen Callender (audio) – 3 stars! Wasn’t a big fan of the romance in this book, but such an important story and discussion on questioning gender identity!
Foreshadow* – Emily XR Pan and Nova Ren Suma – 3 stars! I think, I don’t know how to rate anthologies!

What I’m currently reading:
Words of Radiance – Brandon Sanderson (audio) – continuing my reread!
The Demon King – Cinda Williams Chima – reading this during my work breaks, so it is going quite slowly, but definitely enjoying it!
Reaper Man – Terry Pratchett – Only just started this, but I’m happy to continue with the discworld series!

Reviews I posted:
Tools of Engagement – Tessa Bailey
Where Dreams Descend – Janella Angeles
Other posts:
Top Ten Tuesday – Long Book Titles
Top Five Tuesday – Books with Ghosts!
Let’s Talk Bookish – The Care and Keeping of a TBR
Books I bought/received:
Hollowpox – Jessica Townsend (So excited! Going to read this for Believathon!)
Mad Ship – Robin Hobb (yess, now I can continue with this amazing series!)

What I watched:
Guardians of the Galaxy!
Enola Holmes!
That sounds super stressful! I think cases are on the rise throughout Europe unfortunately. Here in the US they’ve never declined much and now we have even more cases, it’s pretty crazy. Hope things let up soon!
Yes they are..
I really hope so too!
I’m sorry to hear about your week, I hope you healthy and safe and things get better for you! I haven’t been able to pick up Addie LaRue yet but I’ glad to hear it’s as good as I hope it will be, and don’t worry I have NO idea how to review anthologies either!!

Thanks!
I hope you will love Addie LaRue as well once you pick it up!
Right?! The individual stories are too short to review without spoilers, but overall stays so general haha!
Sorry you had such a stressful week at work! Hopefully this week won’t be so hectic.
I hope so too! It looks like it will be better!
Wasn’t Enola Holmes fun? I’m looking forward to starting Addie LaRue in the next week or two. Have a great week!
It was! I hope you will like it!
I still haven’t read a book by Cinda Williams Chima but I need to!
I heard so many great things, so I finally convinced myself to pick her work up! So far so good!
Love the Robin Hobb books!
I’m so excited to continue!
I’ve never tried any VE Schwab but Addie LaRue are getting such great reviews I might try it.
Hope this week is more chill at work
Ooh you should! I love all her work!
I hope so too!
Addie LaRue will also be a reread for me at some point. What an amazing story.
It was!
