This weekend I celebrated ‘Sinterklaas’ with my family and I had such a great time! We have to ‘craft’ something for one other person (not sure if it is the right wording, but we ‘pulled straws’?!), and we also have to buy a present and write a poem for that person. We always make something that is relevant to that person from the last year, and it is always fun to see what everyone came up with! My brother made me this bookshelf:

What I read this week (books with * have a review coming!):
A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow* – Laura Taylor Namey – DNF! I really couldn’t stand the main character..
The Burning God – RF Kuang – 5 stars! Amazing! Although the pacing felt a bit weird near the end, I absolutely loved this, my mind was blown and my heart..!
White Rage – Carol Anderson – No rating (don’t know how to rate non-fiction)! I’m glad I read this one!
The Quantum Weirdness of the Almost Kiss* – Amy Noelle Parks – 2,5 stars! My first 2021 ARC! Not the best book I ever read, but it was nice after all the fantasy!

What I’m currently reading:
Oathbringer – Brandon Sanderson (audio) – Almost halfway!
These Violent Delights – Chloe Gong – Actually haven’t started this yet, but I’m pretty sure I will start it this evening!

Reviews I posted:

Brothers Grimm Fairytales – I’m very happy I have a copy of this now, I will slowly work my way through them!
The House at Pooh Corner – AA Milne – Another one I’m very happy to finally own, this one has the original drawings!

What I watched:
Mismatched – season 1, episode 2 to 6 – Quite enjoyed this one, although I’m not really sure what to think about they ending?!
