Weekly wrap up – June 10-16

What I read this week:

The poet X – Elizabeth Acevedo (finished, audio) – 3 stars! I enjoyed the story but I really was not a fan of the writing style.

The way of kings part 1 – Brandon Sanderson (finished) – 4 stars! I really liked this and I’m so happy I finally read another Sanderson!

Aru Shah and the end of time – Roshani Choski – 4 stars! I’m so happy I finally picked this up, it was really enjoyable!

These rebel waves – Sara Raash (audio) – 4 stars! Quite enjoyed this, especially the ending!

The last Tsar’s dragon – Jane Yolen & Adem Stemple – 3 stars! I enjoyed the story, but the characters felt a bit flat to me.

Aurora rising – Amie Kaufman and Jay kristoff – 4.5 stars! I loved all of this, I just took half a star because it was not AS mind-blowing as Illuminae.

About to pick up:

Bloody Seoul – Sonia Patel – I’m excited for this!

The storm runner – JC Cervantes – After Aru Shah I just needed to pick up another Rick Riordan presents!

Seafire – Natalie C Parker (audio) – I’ve been wanting to pick this up for a while now, so I guess it is finally time!
