What is it about? (Summary from GoodReads)
The Renegades Trilogy continues, in
this fiercely awaited second installment after the New York Times-bestselling
Renegades by Marissa Meyer, author of the Lunar Chronicles.
Time is running out.
Together, they can save the world.
But they each other’s worst nightmare.
In Renegades, Nova and Adrian (aka Insomnia and
Sketch) fought the battle of their lives against the Anarchist known as the
Detonator. It was a short-lived victory.
The Anarchists still have a secret weapon, one
that Nova believes will protect her. The Renegades also have a strategy for
overpowering the Anarchists, but both Nova and Adrian understand that it could
mean the end of Gatlon City – and the world – as they know it.

My thoughts:
I’m going to struggle with reviewing this one..
I wasn’t a huge fan of book one, but I was intrigued by the premise of the story, so I did want to read the sequel.
In this book I wasn’t the biggest fan of the main characters.. Nova and Adrian annoyed me most of the time. I felt like they were making quite stupid choices, and I felt like they were not seeing things a lot of the time. As in I felt like they could have figured out each other’s secret if they were just a little bit less stupid?!
I do really enjoy Ruby, Oscar and Max. Especially Oscar, he is trying to be this though guy, but actually he is very cute!
I did like the overall plot, but I think some parts could have been skipped or shortened, this book was definitely a filler between action in book one and three! But still there was something that kept me picking up the book! And still I’m very curious to how this series will finish, so I’m definitely reading the last book as well!
I also really like the setting and the world created in this series! I really like that their superpowers are related to something that happened to the person!
Kind of a short review this one. But since not so much happened in this one I do not have too much to say about it! As I said I will definitely read book three hopefully soon!
