My thoughts:
Since I really enjoyed book one, I want to listen to this one quite soon after! Both because I really enjoyed this one as well and it starts quite quickly after the ending of book one!
I still really liked the characters, although I think I liked Kate more then Jane in this book, while it was the other way around for book one. I feel like I could really understand Kate, in her decisions and how she expressed her feelings. For Jane, in the first half I enjoyed her character but something happened half way through the book, and her character kinda changes after that. I mean I get that it has a big impact on her life, but I hated how she started acting towards people afterwards, and it took a long time for her to see that.
I also love Sue, and this little girl that I forgot them name from..!
I love the setting, I like the fact that the zombies could be around every corner. Also the vaccine part was interesting, with the whole discussion around them and what we’re just experiencing in the real world!
The thing that happened in the middle that I mentioned really surprised me. I didn’t see it coming, although later on I was like ‘well maybe it was obvious’ haha!
I just could not stop listening to this one, both because the story is so intriguing but also the audiobook is just really really good!
I 100% recommend this duology, also really recommend the audiobooks! I’m very excited for whatever she will write next!
I really want to get to this series! I’ll take the advice and go with the audiobooks 🙂
I hoep you enjoy!
I really want to read this one soon! I might pick up the audiobook now I know it’s good!
Definitely recommend them on audio!
I agree – I remember liking Kate more in this book also. Still, I enjoyed the way it ended.
